Where did my planet go?

So, I thought I'd try out a local multiplayer... I started the Starbound server and joined with my existing character.

I got done playing and exited both the client and the server.

Now when I startup Starbound again and this time play single player I go down to my planet and it's the multiplayer planet and not the planet that was there when I was playing single player.

Where did my single player planet go to? Hopefully it's not gone as I had started to build a really great house on the planet.

Perhaps your game updated. In the past update, both ships and worlds were wiped.

No, it already updated on the day that they pushed the update. This is like multiplayer has wiped my single player world as I can no longer get there.

Feeling a bit furious at the moment due to all the time I spent working on my house.

    I hope it's recoverable somehow.

Moving from multiplayer to singleplayer with the same character will do that. Your planet is still in the universe (if you knew the coordinates, you could fly right back there). The game just placed you back on the planet you left off on.

Well, might be what Crusader said. Also you should not get attached to that house or build anything you really care about until
release, wipes might happen no matter if you want it or not.

If you hosted the server with your own computer, it used the same universe in the multiplayer server you ran.

Okay, well I remembered that I made a backup of my player, and universe folder so I restored those and I'm back on my planet with my house. Only thing missing was the awesome bonehammer I found on the first mini boss immediately upon entering the multiplayer world, it shoots bones and does both enemy damage as well as environmental damage too. Oh well... Something better is bound to come along in another 37 hours.

Start making notes of coordinates so you don't have to worry about forgetting where planets are.
