Please do so. Achievements come last, not first. Also, I will take the opportunity to beg of you to PLEASE ADD UMBRELLAS! It's pretty irritating to be exploring the surface of your planet (or working on your home) and for acid rain or the like to start falling on your head. Not to mention you get pushed around when damaged by it. Also, give us a vacuum cleaner or something. Made a home on a nice planet with no bad weather or acid water...and then after I was all done, it started to have a debris storm, and within minutes my house was covered in gravel. I then had to go around and carefully mine out single blocks of gravel to make sure I didn't break any furniture. A vacuum cleaner that just shwoops up gravel and sand!

@Sadeyx Oh yeah, from all I know, this takes way more than you'd expect, seeing as you need to make the game track all the achievements, and then you need to optimize the game's code responsible for tracking, and create all the achievement icons, and the bugtest EVERY SINGLE ACHIEVEMENT. So yeah, it takes a while.

I can't imagine it will take too much longer, what with the majority of the team coming together and all that. That's bound to help tremendously. Everyone being on the same time frame, working in the same environment will surely boost productivity. It's a challenge, definitely, to have a spread out team. I've tried that once before, and it didn't go nearly as well as they managed to do. Give them a little bit more time to adjust into their new environment, and I bet we will see something awesome as a result, and at a jauntier rate.

I really wanted to be like "Sorry, they are moving their office again. They got bored of England" but... after so many posts being mostly helpful, id feel like it's in poor tastes. I'll leave this here anyway! Bye!

Well, sorry to say, but this team of devs isnt the most tactfull. I sure dont know the background and I dont want to judge anyone, but going on a 3 day weekend, while you know your community is on the brink of revolution isnt tactfull. Maybe he couldnt do anything about it, I dont know, but if I had this company, I would do everything in my power to get a good patch out real soon! Why? Because to be honest, they are loosing alot of money to the negative posts on STEAM. Now that they are also banning people who are just venting their opionions. I have seen some early access games go broke on the negative posts, just because they thought they could take it easy because they have the money. Please note, that people dont tend to forget when a new game of the company comes out. They never sell many again! Think about that. I think the devs just forgot where they came from!

One thing I have noticed about CF is they to not like pushing out things before they feel ready (way back pre-beta there was a lot of time they could have pushed out a broken version of the game or the copy of the i49 version of the game and calmed everyone, at the cost of having the game be at the desired point for public release). I figure they will have something out before the 2 month mark (it has been one month since the last stable 4/25/14) and likely before the half month mark. I doubt they will release an appeasement patch since they have said they are going to listen to the community and work more on making large game-change patches rather then small miscellaneous ones. Then again this is just speculation from my time observing the company.

Question: Would it count as an update if they release it to unstable first? Just wondering cause I know unstable is kinda hidden away.

It's not devs that are banning people on the Steamforum. Those are the Steam forum mods. So people that got banned deserved it

If that was the case, EA games would be SO bankrupt right now ;D

Jokes aside, why does it annoy people if CF (or maybe even just one person of the team, no idea) has a 3-day weekend once in a while? Its not like they are our slaves.
Besides that, to me it seems it doesnt matter anyways what CF does, there are always people that are apparently deeply hurt no matter what they do.
Hell, even if they started to work 25 hours a day, 8 days a week on the game without breaks, i am pretty sure people will find something to complain about.

If it wouldn't yield any results i'm pretty sure ppl gonna complain. Because you know, in business, and in life in general no one cares how hard you work if it not yield any results. Ppl aren't paid for only working but for working and getting job done.
Are you sure? I'm not saying those ppl weren't banned by Steam employee, but i thought Devs have local admin rights in their games part of steam community forums and can appoint local mod. No?

Yeah I am sure. A steam forum mod made a post in one of the locked threads. I'm guessing they might have hired some more blood so they started noticing the reports coming in. I know I did my fair share of reporting over there.

Well, if only a Steam employee can do a mod job it explains a lot a sad state most of Steam Community forums are in. There is nowhere possible to hire enough mods to clean up this mess. I hoped at least Devs have local mods rights.

Hehe, saw it. But that was really necessary, SF steam forum really turned into vile quagmire.

That was a good counter. Really people will remember how crap a company was but if the game being offered interest them enough they will give the devs another chance. People remember EA is setting gaming back with marketing, has origin which is BLEH at best, and is really not a well regarded company. But a new installment of whatever action game is popular or Sports Game 2015 will still sale because interest in those games outweighs hatred of the company.

Really I could get ticked off at Nintendo for screwing me over hard in some fashion, but even after that, the second i see a new Zelda game (that is not OoT updated) i will likely go "well maybe they changed." because well... I like Zelda.

That said since indies don't tend to make blockbusters left and right being known as "That indie that was _____" is a lot more harmful then it is for Valve to be known as "The company that is apparently scared of 3". Speaking of that...

I want to coin a new theory, (unless it has been already). Any discussion of release dates for anything given enough time will eventually result in some reference to HL3.

I dunno, I found the combat aiming changes opened a lot of doors for me. I was almost exclusively using a Starcleaver before then, and now I barely touch it in favor of double knives and the Slavesword.

All these analogies though have made me come up with one about Starbound so that I can play too!

For you see, Starbound development is like the A-Team, a show about a bunch of mercenaries doing things per episode. I don't know what is involved when I tune in, but I do know stuff's blowing up, and OmnipotentEntity is enjoying it with a cigar. Tiy is a lot like the main character, named Mr. T, who loves it when a plan comes together. Mollygos is Howling Mad Murdock, A Suave and Kind fellow who likes Milk and hates Planes!

Clearly I have watched enough of the A-Team to know what I am talking about!

OK so maybe I got Molly wrong.....and OmnipotentEntity....and Tiy.... but I'm sure the rest fits! :p

Well, they should finally come with something, this is plain rediculous to be honest. Oh well, have a nice weekend all! Hope the devs come back with renewed strength, after taking off early for Mario Kart 8! ;)

No it's not. You're just very impatient. There are some EA games that haven't updated since 2013 and are still being worked on.
