When is the Beta NOT going to start?

I absolutely understand that Chucklefish won't tell us when the beta is going to start, or even when the game is going to be released. But maybe they could tell us when it is not happening. They can only guess when somethings going to be finished, but they will KNOW when something is not!

So will the beta NOT start this month? And if not, will it NOT start next month? A simple yes or no answer will save many of us a LOT of time, because we don't have to eagle eye the forum for almost two months!

That IS true. But I'll have to wait until they decide to inform us in the Chronicle. And they probably aren't sure enough to do so already. But they can be sure about not releasing so this is an answer we can get now

 

Easiest thing to do is just assume the Beta will start in 236 Days, 2 Hours and about 47 minutes (as of this post) and then be very happy/excited when it ends up being a lot closer.

They will send out email when the beta is ready, you don't have to keep an eye on the forums.

Also no way are they going to say anything besides 2013 for beta because people will do like with the roadmap and warp it into whatever they want to view rather then understanding it as a simple statement.

Better to say nothing then everyone freak out over words misconstrued into what they did not in fact say.

 

Much like how a watched pot never boils, a watched game never goes to beta.

They probably want to show us what they have so far as much as we want to see it.
There are no reasons to keep beta/release date hidden...when there's one

Well actually a watched pot boils just the same as a normal pot, same thing happens to games

The person who created that thread attributed a demo being presented at a game convention with the release date.
There is nothing official, or legit about that.

 

Obviously a joke... Yes I believe the game will come out in the past. No need to be so serious
