When exactly can you survive in Asteroid Fields?

    Hey all - I had the same problem - no survival system in my crafting table.

    I had the mats for the mk3 upgrade and when I put it into my ship - the survival system was added - so seems to come with the mk3 upgrade once it is added to the ship. I'm not sure how I skipped that with this toon but...that's what I experienced.

    You have to be in tier 4. The survival system should be craft-able then.

    i have the exact same problem :/ killed the dragon boss, still have the robo crafting table, I'm in delta system (k4) and i can't seem to find the survival pack, i have all the ingredients as well.

    Its a bug, I think you might have to craft the upgrade again. :/ Or you could cheat a bit with a mod.

    I remade the mk3 upgrade again and everything unlocked properly when i used it
