I made Saitama from One Punch Man in Saints Row 4. One-punching pedestrians and cops while listening to the opening theme.

I managed to complete "The Guardian" challenge in Binding of Isaac Afterbirth. For those who don't know it's where you fly around with a sword and try to get more than half way through the game while guarding a lumpy-headed idiot with no sense of self-preservation. Basically, a typical escort mission.

They're not recorded on Steam's achievements because I did them when it was only out on Playism, but I beat the True Final Boss and Travel Journal quests in One Way Heroics Plus.
The True Final Boss is obviously the strongest enemy in the game whom you can only get to by completing certain tasks while playing the game on the second hardest difficulty. First, you collect certain amounts of Dimensional Gold Coins at certain points during the adventure. They're random drops, but not terrible to get. Then you get to the Dimensional Void where enemies are pretty mean and after some time, the true final boss will come to battle you. And it's a tough fight. I prepared as much as I possibly could, bringing the best weapons, using the best class, dying many times early-game to get the best party member as early as possible, and I still lost the first time, sadly having to load a save. But when you do it, ohhh man it's good.

Even harder than that is the Travel Journal quest. You know how I said I brought the best weapons and used the best class for the TFB? You can't do that for the Travel Journal. You're not allowed to bring items from past runs and you're only allowed to use the Tourist, the worst class in the game. You have to wander the world and face its dangers while striving to write 1000 pages in your travel journal. Which takes a while unless you do some risky strats like getting surrounded by enemies in a dungeon. You need to make full use of your abilities and what the game hands you to finish a Travel Journal quest, but when you're done, it feels so good, having completed one of, if not the hardest run in the game. That isn't just like walking 10,000 kilometers or something.

One Way Heroics is a fun game, I'm basically saying.

My favorite moment in gaming was in LoL, and I had landed a Gnar ultimate that saved my team the game. After a long and hard fought struggle, teamwork caused us to push forward and take down the nexus.
It was so sastisfing, especially after the horrible matches I had had beforehand.

Playing Fallout 4, went into the Fraternal Post in Cambridge. I tried to headshot the super-mutant, but it didn't kill him, so he pulled an alarm. Then I'm up on the second floor, near the stairs, shooting all of these super mutants coming from everywhere. I used a PsychoJet, and it was like Rambo.

Beating classic ironman on XCOM: Enemy Within.

The early months are always brutal. Highlight for me was probably losing all but two squad members in the beginning of a UFO crash-site mission set in the ruins of a building, due to multiple thin men attacks. The two survivors were heavily wounded, one more shot or poisoning and they'd go down. Yet I managed to carefully move and take out the remaining enemies with no further losses. Too many close calls for my liking.

Both survivors eventually went on to serve with distinction, making up the backbone of my A-Team. One of them lost their life in XCOM base assault, the other in the final mission of the game.

Did you just slap a landing gear on it and fly it back cargo helicopter style? Most of the time when I need to move stuff around I have a specially built ship that has lots of downward thrusters so I can lift massive loads.
BTW is this in survival? also on planets? I'm assuming yes on both counts.

This one's not recent, but it's from last year and I'm still kinda impressed with it.

Last summer, I went on a bit of a Mega Man X binge, finishing X3 and playing X4 and X5 for the first time.
Upon starting X5, I did as I usually do, head into options and mess with my controls. I saw a difficulty setting, checked what the other options were, and left it on Normal.

    ...Or so I thought.
Upon starting the game, I noticed I was kinda getting my head handed to me a bit. It might've been the fact that I started with Zero, who has no damage reduction armor, but I pressed on and finished the intro stage.
And after starting the proper game, I paused at some point and noticed some text at the bottom of the screen.
    "Xtreme"
It had dawned upon me that I had accidentally left Xtreme Mode, the hardest difficulty setting on. After that realization, two of my friends told me to keep it on, and against my better judgement, I listened to them.
But after the pain that caused, I actually managed to beat the game with it on! I'm really proud of myself for managing that, aha.

tl;dr I left Mega Man X5 on the hardest difficulty, peer pressure made me keep going, and I beat the game.

If awesome means funny then mine is.

who doesn't love making a whole genocide in a battle while holding a meatbun as a weapon and during events seeing people eyes floating over their head confessing their love to you. Meatbun is power and is life on that game. (best pc game for graphical bugs :monkey:)

Me: make a char, start the game, play as said char, start as a free man, gather companions, take over one providence, start the process of conquering all of china, find true love in the midst of all the chaos, has a daughter before completely conquering all of china, after the fall of the big enemy it's just a matter of time before the rest of china is united, play as said kid because the rest of our enemies are pushovers, the ending? i, Lu Dai, along with my generals, and my daughter, looking over the newly united China.

    Fun times.

    In TF2, the item servers were down (I.E, no unique loadouts) and we were playing Medieval mode on Degroot Keep. Anyway, one guy had the brilliant idea of making one side Demomen and the other side Spies. It was a war of White Privilege. In voice chat conversations could be heard such as;
"God, Frenchies, weren't you killed by the Muslims?"
"Stop beating me up with your white privilege."
"This guy looks like he's from Compton."
    Etc, etc.

Me and my friend went on a Russian Unturned server and not much after we got some basic gear we had about 7 nude, Russian-speaking children squeaking to their mics following us. They were mostly harmless but we had a good flock of nude human shields there.
On a German server, we met a pretty awesome guy who spoke both German and English and he took us to his friends. He was instructing them in German and we, 2 Finns who do not speak or understand the language at all stood there like complete idiots. They could've plotted to murder us and we would've had no idea.

In Darkest Dungeon, I went on a medium-length quest. In the first battle, my Hellion missed twice and got eaten by spiders in 2 turns. I had to retreat from the entire dungeon and try again with the same party. This time though, I replaced the late Hellion with Crusader. The quest went extraordinarily well. That useless Hellion will not be missed.
