What's your battleplan on release?

I would most likely gather resources; cause you can't build a base without the proper resources.

Eventually I'll get around to doing everything though.

Also, I'm going to be playing with two others. So, I guess we'll be pretty busy with gathering.

 

Get fancy gear. Find fancy ocean planet. Use fancy gear to make fancy underwater base. Fancy up said base with fancy shiny objects. Horde shiny gear in expansive fancy base.

Quite a fancy plan if I do say so myself.

2. Explore galaxy
3. Blow stuff up
4. Collect loot/resources/battle trophies
5. Blow stuff up
6. Build subterranean arctic superfortress and city
7. Blow stuff up
8. Rule with an iron fist
9. Blow stuff up
10. Go to 1.

And, to be perfectly honest, there probably will be giggling like a schoolgirl, but only when I find myself a shiny new rocket launcher, or when using said launcher.

Did I mention blowing stuff up?

 

As an impulsive person, there is no plan!

 

100% explorer mode until I find a charred planet littered with the giant bones of deadly beasts. The perfect place to build my dark fortress. The weather must be lightning and thunder 24/7, and the sky must be burning red. I want my home planet to be on the highest difficulty level possible, as well. You see, by the time I find this rather specific environment I'll be sick and tired of exploring, I'll have collected most of the best stuff, and I'll be ready to get creative and build, build, build!

And if such a place does not exist, I'll mod it in. So between exploring, building, and modding, I'll be busy for a long time.

 

Whatever I feel like doing at that time.

 

Zoom through the Story, and then cry because it's my own damn fault that there's no more story.

Waiting on an announced release date before getting too excited and making any plans at all

 

Set up a twitch account before release, set up a server and play with friends on Skype while streaming. I think we're mostly going to focus on progressing and seeing as much content as possible, as fast as possible, with minimal "farming" if natural gear progression allows.

 

I'm going to definitely explore a bit. There's DEFINITELY going to be time for "Restoring my only means of interstellar travel" and "Creating a place to live, AFTER I've killed some squishy flesh things and crunchy machines.

 

I will delve into the deepest depths of adventure, daring to die for the sake of discovery! I will fight fiercely to reach both the fantastical and forlorn edges of the universe! I will... I will... -explodes-

 

To explore the galaxy! I really wanna see which monsters will generate throughout my playthrough

Running around, killing everything, then getting myself into trouble in the middle of nowhere because i didn't pay attention. Also the giggling.
