No. I could see the exact same thing, except I could do it without someone screaming out how awesome/scary that part of the game is

On-Topic: I prioritize finding a homeplanet.

 

Well first I'm going to take a day or so off of work and seal myself at home with my computer.

But then I'll explore around for a new homeworld. Fuel permitting, I'd like to scan all of the worlds I have access to before making a decision, and then I'll look for a planet with nice aesthetics - cool monsters, plants, background, resources, and music.

 

Those screaming 'lets players' give the whole LP thing a bad name
They tend to be in it for the money, and what better way to get views than attract the countless kids on the internet by screeching and overreacting to everything
This also results in them being seen more often and therefore being the thing that people judge lets plays on
If you find a lets player that just wants to make videos for fun, with a guude personality and humor, you'll be watching their videos to see how they react rather than see the game itself

As for this thread, it's been made countless times already, I really wish people would stop making them
Without knowing the ins and outs of the game we can't say for sure how we'll start playing, like most people I'll probably just do whatever seems logical to do when I get in the game and go with the flow

 

getting a vehicle to drive around planets over poptops and penguins.

 

Probably start a Resort/ Laboratory Build it up for 30 screens worth of area. Then set host it as multiplayer, gather a big enough party, then snipe to desired taste and rage. Basically how things went in Terraria, build sky-cities with environments in then, while scouring the planet for nice materials.

Won't be surprised that Every Rock quarry I start will be come a fight to the death for granite and marble.

After that, I was thinking about organizing something similar to the Mindcrack series/Minecraft Hunger Games, recruit a bunch of people, spawn them locked in different sides of the world and watch them fight to death.

To get hung up in the character creator way to long trying to figure out what I should be, then fighting urges ten minutes later to start over.

 

I will chop trees then mine then craft better stuff or go explore around then go to another world & repeat that endlessly until I have the best possible stuff

The first thing I can see myself doing is messing around with the system navigation, seeing what kind of planets I can find. That would be cool.
Then building a huge home base on the coldest planet I can find.
