What's this now?

I killed a monster and it dropped an Amiib- I mean, an Action Figure of itself. Do all the new monsters have drops like this? How rare are they?

 

According to the wiki, we have 1 chance on one thousand to get back it by killing a unique monster. I have of it to get back also one of Bobfae.

 

Well thats pretty bloody rare there then! grats on yer findings pal!

 

I've found two so far, and only because I hang out on the same planet for way too long. I love the addition of stupidly rare things. Shame they're so tiny, but it's still nice.

Nightly has something new too; rocks you break open that give samples of ore types. Not as glorified as small monster models, but little trophy-mounted ore samples of every type including Solarium and Pristilite (whatever that is) is pretty neat. Equally rare though, I've opened over 500 Geodes (the rocks you can get), and I've only found 6 samples.

Such a small detail, but a welcome one.

 

I have three of the action figures so far -- 1 from a monster drop, and the other 2 from chests

 

I gots one from the little flaming bug enemy!

I now know what to do with some of the extra space in my Danger Museum... set up a room specifically for monster figures.

 

It's little super duper pooper scooper rare stuff like this that make everything awesome!

 

Nice! I didn't even notice when I got my Gleep figure; I came back from a day of spelunking and alien slaughter and there it was in my inventory. I'll definitely keep an eye out for them now!

 

A start at a trophy room, tho I'm not sure which method of "shelf" to go with. Bottom is more ornate, but there's something to be said for the simplicity of the top version...

 

Ugh, I have bad luck with those things, haven't found one yet and probably won't for a while

The bottom one looks more natural, in my opinion.
