What's the difference?

    Hi! Guys I REALLY need to know, what's the difference between OpenGL and the normal version of starbound?

    One uses direct x and the other open gl.

    I think it's safe to say that if you don't know the difference, then it doesn't really matter. I personally use OpenGL, but that's because I'm a hipsnerd who uses anything that has an "open" or "libre" tag on it. In all seriousness, I have tried both versions and didn't notice any obvious difference in looks nor in performance.

    As a windows user, you probably want DirectX, a mac or linux user would want OpenGL
