What's gonna happen to asteroid bases?

So, my main stable character, a Novakid, has a huge base on an asteroid field. Everything's there; endgame crafting stuff, midsize farm, space-bowling, etc. He also has a space farm on an asteroid field, his main food supply. In the current unstable patch, asteroid fields are totally reworked; they aren't planets anymore and have no gravity. What does this mean for my stuff? Do I have to move it? Will I still be able to teleport there? Or will it be pretty much cool, with just the gravity change? if it's not a planet anymore, will it be renamed? Can you even use teleporters on non-planets?

Basically, I want to know if I need to spend the next few days making a bunker for my endgame stuff and plants.

I would imagine that the changes will only apply to unvisited asteroid fields, but you can test this by backing up your universe folder and then visiting your asteroid base in the unstable update.

Although, I haven't played an unstable release in a long time, so maybe unstable releases create their own universe folders.

    I'm pretty sure they do.
