What would your character be like?

So I've always been wondering-- do people internally develop their game character even though they might not be doing any roleplay on it? Would they choose classes/skills/weapons/decisions that fit their character? Do they like to imagine them as humorous, brave, sassy? I always think that I'm the only one that does that, so I was just wondering.

So thus, that raises the question: Have you ever thought of what your character in Starbound would be like? If so, what?

I tend to name my characters 'Nix Low' or some variant thereof, and they all...literally all...tend to leave giant trails of explosions, mad cackles, and homeless orphans (Looking at you, Skyrim) in their wake.

Naturally my character will probably reflect me,

A Wanderer with no goals, witty, a variety of otherwise useless skills, a knack for surviving, brilliant comedic ability, appearing in unexpected places.
He'd use things in ways they were never meant to be used. Various instruments would serve as his blunt weapons. He could talk his way out of any situation....
