What would you like to see as the third stretch goal?

REPTILIAN RACE.

I know it would hard to fit to make it unique, but I really want to be a race with scales! TwT

 

Nothing comes to my mind right now apart from another race. Although I suppose that's an obvious answer.

If they reach a high amount of money I would like to see them attempt a non humanoid playable race (as in not the typical two arms, two legs) Although they would probably want a lot of money for that.

 

Supernovas? Neutron stars? Deadly astronomical events? And here you guys are talking about penguins...

I'd like to see custom printing on weapons, make your own pixel art for your own aesthetic decoration, that kind of stuff. The stretch goals are sometimes small things.

Anyways, would be nice to see a random mount generator machine. A machine that took some time to make and costed alot to generate one mount

Actually, I think that's already going to be a feature. I was pretty sure I had heard of a "prefab" system that allows you to drop constructed buildings instantly.

 

Not everyone. I'd still pick the Avian race personally, it would just be nice to see some diversity.

Watching Adventure Time makes me wish Starbound devs would add a candy people race.

 

How about more planet enviroments?

For example, a planet so cold it rains liquid oxygen?

The ability to use monsters DNA to craft specific genetic amelioration. Like, if you get (Exemple) 10X the dna of 3 different monsters that breath underwater, you can craft a capsule that when equiped in the gene implant slot, give you a longer breath time. Stronger effect need a higher amount of different monsters. These would be like tech but giving abilities more specific to physical traits.

 

what if the DNA you can collect can also be used to actually make monsters? lets say you get like 5 of a flying monster DNA strand then you can make a "monster part" for lack of better words, and its a completely random flying mob part and you need a bunch of other dna from other monsters to create a new monster, and its all random parts. Basically just trying over and over and over again to get the exact monster you want.

 

Aye, but if we throw money at them, perhaps they'll move it up! Kind of like how them Nova Kids

 

Well of course, being able to get the specific parts of monsters in order to craft them yourself would be cool indeed. Oh, and on a side note, these DNA samples should not take space in your inventory. They would all be stored into an item in said inventory and sorted in a neat list of monster type, (flying, fast, strong). This item would also be what causes the DNA samples to spawn on monsters death a little like how the blowpipe in terraria caused the seeds to spawn from grass. So someone who is not interested in doing any of this isn't buried under useless test tubes.

 

This is a fantastic idea, also the basic rage-inducing nature of not getting the head you want on your monster but everything else you wanted definitely keeps people trying over and over again.
