What Would You Like In Next Major Update?

The ability to build train tracks, stations and the train to go with it. (Not realistic, but hey, I'm being asked what I'd like and not what I expect to see. )

 

1. i would love to see an improvement of the pet system:

- commands (for example when E click on them) - similiar to severel skyrim mods
- pets that stay with u, even when u travel to other planets
- a pet "charwindow" - similiar to "torchlight 2"
- the capture pods should show an image of the monster inside, if you move your cursor over them


2. i would also like to see an improvement of the spawn npcs:

- commands
- more clever KI
- the ability to equip guards or make the guards on another way more usable (scale with the current planet or so)


3. the option to memorize more than one planet in the galaxy panel

- it reeeally sucks to be only able to "save" one planet


4. the option to set the ship "down teleporter" anywhere of a planet.

- currently it is not really possible to set a base anywhere of a planet , especially on a large one, if you don't like minute long walks

I forgot the most important thing:

PLEASE , expend the "send to trash" option. to be able to only send one thing at time is ...

-More Biomes
-More Dungeons unrelated to races (ruined ships, abandoned cities, ancient temples...)

 

Removal of the broken tier system first and foremost. Water worlds, balanced guns, directional attacking for melee, addition of heat, and the ability to use multiple techs at once would be nice too.

 

An improved music interface would be much appreciated.

The current interface is perfectly fine if you've only got the starting songs, but once you start adding your own and your collection grows to 200+ songs, it becomes very difficult to find what you're looking for.

All that really needs to be added for an improved music interface are these three things:
- a search bar
- the ability to manually drag the scroll bar
- the ability to adjust the size of the interface window

 

Actually the ability for any scroll bar in any interface to be moved manually would be nice.

 

I wanted to add one more thing to my list.

14) The ability to craft/make/buy backpacks/bags and expand on our person's inventory. =)

 

• The ability to tame dogs, avian scorpions and, maybe, flyers.
• The ability to craft robots, like those employed by the USCM.

 

1) keybindings
Reasons:
A: not everyone is comfortable with wasd format
B: dropping an item because you hit Q instead of A really sucks
C: 1/7 people are left handed and wasd is harder for them to use

2)ship upgrades
2a: more storage
2b: more racially unique ships
2c: pixel storage
2d: mass conversion for 3d printer
rather than trashing those tons of dirt, convert them to something useful

3)persistent growth/smelting/cooking/etc

4)shipboard planetary scanner/log

5)lockable doors

6)meteor sheilding for bases, preferably a printable recipe,

7) racial relationship,
you kill avians, avians start attacking you, you kill enough avians they start sending bounty hunters after you

8) racially prefered foods give a bonus, racially disliked foods a penalty
example: florans are stated as carnivorous, therefore they get a bonus when eating meat (better hunger recovery or some healing) while hyotls are stated to be vegetarians therefore they don't get the full effects of meat based foods,

9)placeable beam down point/ base to base teleport within a single system/

10) better drops for mobs, not just meat, leather or pivels, special components usable for crafting, (that mob had lightning attacks, maybe it will drop a component that adds an electrical effect to your weapon, or maybe it's skin will craft armor that is electrically resistant. etc.)

11) trophy drops for mini bosses, (hang that beast's head on your base's wall)
