What Would You Like In Next Major Update?

SHIP LOG / Captains log - I want to know where I have been without taking screenshots or writing/typing it down(maybe even a small text bot where I can put notes about a planet).

I'd love an animated .gif of all the developers doing the Karamel Dansen.

 

These are big, I bought a copy for a friend that's colorblind but we don't know if he'll be able to play yet. He was able to deal with it in Terraria but it wasn't easy for him.

Rebindable keys will please a lot of people like the lefties that can't get the hang of wasd. Nice to move on from that.

I'd personally like a ton more missions because otherwise all you can really do right now is grind through the tiers. But, that's likely not a priority and will come with time so no worries.

Ocean biomes Pz. Because ocean.

 

I want to be able to enter journal entries for both my chosen homeworld and the native lifeforms keeping residence with me.
I think that this change would give players enough to make some real immersive environments in. Until terraforming is in the game, at least giving players some way to be creative besides building strongholds and farms and such would go a long way for the longevity of the game.

 

1) more craftable blocks eg. copper bricks,gold bricks, plutonium bricks etc.
2) for vines and plants to grow and spread naturally
3) more armour types eg. iron energy/iron armour/iron health variants etc.
4) craftable guns
5) ability to sell to vendors
6) more vendors (clothe shops are so disappointing)
7) more back items eg. backpack, energy core, jetpack etc.
8) more mob drops and the ability for them to drop pixels and something else
9) spawn/beam down location changer
10) farms that works while you aren't there

 

Ship customization and more fleshed out upper tiers would be nice. I'd also like to see a bit more variety to the planets and biomes. Is snow always white in space? Couldn't it be pink? Or blue? Or even yellow?

 

Custom ships, maybe something like upgrades you could buy.
Beards. Beards and moustaches.

Colored text too. The colored text abuse has got to go. It's so damn hard to read and totally unnecessary.

 

0) Key Rebinding (needs to be done ASAP)
1) Protectitive shield from meteorites
2) Better gun balancing (seriously, guns like atm are 90% of the time a waste of time)
3) Ammo for guns which is craftable so they dont eat up your energy bar, microfusion cells for plasma rifles, energy cells for pulse rifles (which are no pulse rifles atm)
4) Guns for characters which are craftable
5) Adding advanced navigation (bookmarking planets, scanning planets etc)
6) Upgrading your ship so it becomes bigger in size
7) Less creepy avians
8) More creepy Florans
9) Gauss Rifles
10a) Getting the forums under curse.net Horrible idea, those guys are horrible and dissallow you to say words like shit
10b) More interactive NPCs/NPC interactions in general, friendly human outposts/cities, fixed cooking recipes, aqquireable fish and other non aqquireable fooditems, all cooking recipes are locateable.

Like many have already said - ship upgrades. I want to be able to upgrade my ship to have plenty of room for storage, bedrooms, etc. I'm very excited about what information and screenshots I've seen so far on the planned ship upgrades, and the ability to upgrade my ship is definitely my #1 most-looked-forward-to feature, so the sooner it comes out, the better.

 

I'd like it to update to Stage 2 of the beta. Since the game was supposed to come out in december but got delayed it just wouldn't make sense if the stage 2 didn't come in the couple of weeks ahead of us. If not, this is the biggest delay I've ever seen.

Persistent Farming
Fixed seed growth rate
Quests
More of this interesting lore and development of the Agaran race, and the color coordinated race.

Persistent Farming and fixed seed growth rate needs to happen for people to be able to self sustain on more things than just bread.

Quests would help give some players a sense of purpose. It's never bad to be able to to missions if you want to.
