I don't know exactly what I'll call myself, but whatever it is I'll regret it the moment I turn on multiplayer. Doesn't help that the internet likes abbreviating anything it can gets its hands on. I know somebody from another game called NotAParrot, who is obviously exclusively referred to as Parrot.

 

I've had the same problem before, With people calling me Gun or Gunman but, the thing is, I'm not The Gunman I'm a Gunman.

For your Robot, if "Designation" is the style ya wanna go, I recommend "R2-D2"!

It depends. Usually when I play with friends, I'll make a very ridiculous (and sometime offensive) name that we can all laugh at.
For example, I made a character that sort of resembled Ryu Hayabusa from Ninja Gaiden (NES version), and also called him Bimmy Lee to piss of my friends.

But for single player, I tend to use either my screen-name (Zezzler), or just my real name. Mostly because I don't really care, and I'm likely going to be the only one seeing it.

female floran that is mostly pink: cherryblossom
male human: Dick Chappy (a reference from when Uberhaxornova played Terraria with the Yogscast)

The first two names are subject to change, but I will most definitely name my human Dick Chappy.

I will just assign numerical orders to my character names so that I can keep track of them easily.

1st character name: 1
2nd character name: 2
A few minutes later
99th character name: hjszfdjdfh
100th character name: Ugh, why must I make a new character every time I die. (If that don't fit then 100)
