What will you do? What makes this game click for you?

I hope the combat system is similar to how I imagine it. I hated the Terraria PvP battles I got into; too much flailing around and not enough skill.
Also, unique weapons that I can show off since noone else will have them.

 

what if you craft a roast dinner only to find it contains brussel sprouts?
would you still love everything in the game then?

 

Roasted brussel sprouts are delicious, so yes.

 

what if the brussels replaced the yorkshire puddings!

this ^ i really cant word it better. i loved every ounce of terraria, but thought it had some shortcomings. starbound filled them all as far as i know.
i have yet to see something about starbound that i dont like

The worlds that make you feel like a stranger in a strange place,
feeling like you and your crew are on a total exploration mission to log flora and fauna and just discover new lands.
Not to mention, crews being so diverse, with plant people, apes, robots and more.
All their differences aside, they're just space explorers.

 

my starbound will be made when the random generator of swords create a keyblade or two. or some giant sword at least 3 times as big as yourself.

 

This is why I love the melee stuff more.

 

Exploration and discovery. And space penguins. Everything is else the gravy, making the exploration and discovery that much cooler. The space penguins can't be made more awesome.
