Since there is no FAQ yet... I was wondering if this game will be more focused on doing quests and such, or more or mining, farming and building stuff.
i really hope there will be lots of quests and caves where you can look for a fight i dream of a harvest moon / zelda mashup game myself since i have player harvest moon @ snes go go go lots of dungeons to explore (incl. bossfights) + awesome farming please edit : there is a faq but in a very early stage http://stardewvalley.net/faq/
Good question, I may not be the developer so I can't tell you everything but Stardew Valley is a game where you can really do whatever you want! Mine , farm , build , and hopefully eat a lot of cheese! Sadly I don't think it will have actual quest be who needs quests when you can do whatever you want? This game will be AWESOME so please don't leave the site thinking it's one of those game without a purpose, it has so much and it's not even that close to release!!! {Its no farmville!}
It's basically Harvest Moon with Multiplayer + Rune Factory without Magic (unsure if there'll be magic or not) + COOP!...I purposely mentioned Coop twice..due to it's awesomeness... Go search up Harvest Moon or Rune Factory to know more about those games
