What will be the first way you die in Starbound?

i think i'll die if my hover bike ran out of gas and i was on top of oceans of lava................

 

Did you forget the overpowered sand?

 

Oh I Meant the majority of materials. Like collapses aren't necessarily the ever-falling death column that is sand

I know ^^ I was teasing.

Although that does make me consider an interesting game mechanic. What if, say, you had to support your tunnels whilst digging so that they didn't collapse on you?
I might be the only person who would enjoy that though u__u

 

I'd enjoy that. But only till a certain depth. After that I'm sure it'd be majority Stone and wouldn't need as much support.

 

True - Perhaps just for the more unreliable of things like mud and snow (Terraria examples ftw)

Indeed! It'd be great to be walking in a natural cave, blow something up and the screen shakes horribly and the cavern collapses on you.

 

Well we know that monsters can kick dirt around, the blocks get displaced. I'm guessing explosions do it, too.
So if you stood in a hole in the ground and something kicked or pushed in a ton of dirt you'd probably suffocate.

I tend to be careful about fall damage and drowning, so I'll probably die fighting something horrible with a lot of teeth... in a tiny pit.
Either that or I blow myself up. Or something explosive falls on me! (Kamikaze crabs?)

Probably die to one of the default mobs. If I survive that, then I'll definitely die of falling. That's how I usually died in Terraria.
Remember, the cliff is always higher than it looks.

 

When we got bomb's... uhm ok i dont be the first how die i think a friend how play's with me die's first because i blow her up and... directly after this i blow up myself or uhm the revenge-bomb from her. When we dont get bomb's early in the game than in the same way to many people here~ fall damage but... uhm from my own i search the biggest mountain and JUUUMP! And looking how many damage i recieve. (\^o^/)

 

Probably when some greedy, selfish and pure evil players raid my entire planet and steal every resource on it.

 

probably the starting monsters, the first time I played terraria 3 slimes basicly raped me in a corner and I died.

 

I can imagine this will be my first death too.

 

Can't say for sure WHAT it will be that kills be first, but I can almost guarantee it will be preceeded by me saying aloud "Hm...I wonder if this will kill me..."

Petting the jellyfish.

 

Death by lack of HP.

In all seriousness, I'm expecting to accidentally launch myself out the airlock while talking on IRC or somesuch.
