What will be the first way you die in Starbound?

It's almost impossible to tell. But, if the mechanics are anything like Terraria, it's going to be either fall damage or drowning. Those two things killed me too many times I'd care to admit when I first started playing Terraria, lol. Although it would probably be fall damage... I've gotten better about not falling into a lake.

Dysentry

 

Gravity. My ancient and ever-present foe. We meet again, at last, for the last time...

Falling was the only thing that could kill me in Terraria, but this time there won't be a horseshoe to save me.

 

I'll most likely die while digging down to the first planet core that I'm able to, then promptly fall into the lava on my way out or meet a monster that will eat me.

 

I'll be launching a nuke or something similar, and while trying to escape I'll remember that I forgot to refuel.

Fall Damage.

It's always the fall damage.

 

Drinking from the wrong flask...

 

Unless there will be some scripted story related deaths, my first death
in starbound will be from falling. Just like in Terraria.

 

Probably falling damage or slimes.

Those are what usually get me in terraria.

Starvation

 

Tiy Freeman will destroy me, Shock Freeman, in a duel of horror.

 

I'll probably be playing on some hardcore mode of sorts when this happens too... But probably from eating some poisonous food when starving to death. It'll be one of those deaths that really piss me off and cost me "everything" over nothing...

 

I'll probably get brutally murdered by a cute little monster I thought was friendly.
