What will be the first way you die in Starbound?

same except me screaming at the whatever creature that is killing me which i am trying to beat away with my iron sword and wooden shield and then having a heart attack

 

Death by tentacle planet.

 

Well, I foresee several scenarios:

• testing my character's tolerance to fall damage;
• seeing what happens when I leave the space station without a space suit;
• going cave diving and not finding any air pockets;
• getting eaten alive;
• thinking that "if it's small, it can't be dangerous";
• venturing down a cave without a light source;
• going AFK to make tea or something and forgetting to pause.

 

im gonna go on a cliff and jump in to an acid pool.(jump with your mech for extra fun)

 

Falling down a pit or some other natural hazard is how I'm most likely going to die first.

Either that, or some mob enemy is going to kill me in the most ridiculous way. It always happens on one game or another.

 

This. All the time, every time.

 

Fall damage...

 

I will die from falling damage, I always do

 

Probably to a random mob, while trying to do something that isn't fighting.

 

• Cuteness overload of an enemy (I now know to watch out for Poptops, they're like the Green Slime of Starbound)
• Mining a piece of the ceiling off and due to darkness, not seeing an enemy on that tile
• Forgetting to pause when using the bathroom
• Fighting enemies while fatigued
• Being scared of some enemies
• Having no one to fire my lazorz Falling into lava
• Insulting a space dragon, having the dragon pick me up in rage and THEN being thrown into lava
• Trying to kill an enemy with little health but absurd defense when starting out
• Trying to kill an enemy without knowing it's a boss
• Being mobbed by mobs
• Feeling awesome that day and tries to kill multiple bosses at once with suckish equipment
• Forgetting to bring HP restorers to a boss fight
• Forgetting to bring a lava-resistant suit and jumping in lava
• Mining to the bottom of the world and being killed by the possibly molten core
• Forgetting to read
• Entering portals that appear for no reason; it always leads to dimensions of doom, destruction and TERROR.

EDIT:

• Jumping into pits while thinking the place is tricking you by making you think it's not bottomless
• Same situation above, but with lava at the bottom
• Crossing the bridge with the troll under it. TROLOLOLOL
• Same situation as above, while being a goat-like species
• Falling for obvious traps such as seeing the key in the very next room and being told that this is the right key by signs
• Forgetting to bring the gear you made for that deadly planet
• Running around armor-less because you think you look better without it
• Attacking a deadly race

EVEN MOAR EDIT:

• Floating above lava when my hovershark runs out of battery
• Oil + Fire in my space station
• Enslaving a species that can easily break out
• Forgetting that my super strong armor is in the vanity slot (if this game even has that)
• Making posts like these during an invasion, forgetting to pause
• Same as above, but in multiplayer where you can't pause
• Losing breath in SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE
• Eating a bomb disguised as a pie

 

you forgot jumping into lava or acid with your ride.

 

How could I forget!? I'll fix it right away!
Even though I fixed it before posting this.

 

I'll be trying to be all MLG and go to the hardest place possible and die within the first 5 seconds.

 

I'll probably die from under estimating a monster and thinking that things like health are expendable.

 

i would die from not knowing about falling damage or, been afk and killed by a death virob

 

I'll probably jump into the water trying to get something, no way of escaping, and just cry.

 

I'll probably activate my ship's self destruct. "What's this big red button do?"

 

Fall damage. It was the first thing to kill me in Terraria and Minecraft, it will no doubt be the first thing to kill me in Starbound!

 

I got a feeling, that the same will happen to me.

 

I will probably go exploring caves and strong cave monster will kill me.
