What will be the first thing you do in this game?

Google monster capturing, and start raising my army of minions.

 

Invade a planet, kill all it's inhabitants (including bunnies) and then build up an empire and then i'll conquer the rest of the universe....
simple plan, isn't it?

 

Quickly get on top of the crafting system, trying to get myself some basic gizmo's I can marvel at

 

I shall design a ship and go out to find the tentacle planet. Then make it my base.

 

The first thing i will do is probably to try getting this:

 

Explore the cosmos.
What else do you think I'd do?
Sit on a thorn stick?

 

most likely in my case
#1 : spend an embarassing amount of time to make my character perfect
#2 : spend an even bigger embarassing amount of tiem trying to find him a name i deem worthy
#3 : log in, check the options and controls to make sure everything is good.
#4 : then most likely im gonna do any sort of tutorial/main quest and such to discover the game and until i feel comfortable with free-roaming.

Waiting for my friend to also get the game. Wait until we're both online (+11 hours of difference) and play.
I promise to restrain myself from playing until my friend can too.

 

Sit there for a half minute breathing in the amazing that is the game and the fact I finally have it
stare at the screen for a while thinking of what to do as my first significant action
Break it down with my bad self Terraria-style by spamming left and right on my keyboard

 

I am gonna build me a house and deck it out so nice, I hope they have lots of gadgets and things to place, that way rooms can be functional.

 

If possible I will open my inventory and analyse everything that I see on the screen to learn as much as I can to avoid making some simple mistake.

 

I'm gonna host a server and get all my friends to play with me while we explore every single cave to the depths of the planet

 

Dig a hole. I do love to diggy diggy hole.

 

Explore several worlds and start some bases which will slowly grow over time. Also eventually do what hazardjake said once I get my friends into the game!
