What weathers would you like to see?

Let's see... Foggy, cloudy, rainy, thunderstorm, sunny, snowing, acid rain.
But nothing too specific

I want muffins rain

 

I just want gloomy, depressing rain. The kind where your inside, nice and cosy while it pours it down outside. That and snow of some sort.

 

Rain of course!!!

With different variants for whatever planet/environment you are on, such as acidic rain for a toxic planet, or fiery lava rain for a volcanic world.

Not exactly weather, but I think eclipses would be cool, which could cause the planet to be covered in darkness for some time.

 

All the basics at least, Light Rain, Heavy Rain, Light Snow, Heavy Snow (Blizzard), Sandstorms, Ash Storms (Like on a Volcanic world), Fog, Meteor Showers (Or just one large one), Stuff like that. I really want more then just one intensity of rain/snow, Gives it a more Dynamic feel IMO.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head.

 

What about hail, or an ice storm. Break softer things like glass n such. Hurts "slightly" when u are hit by it. Ice/Snow planet.

 

Hallucinogenic Clouds, Blood rain, Fog that makes dead things come back to life.

 

Does anyone know yet if rain will actually add water to the surface of a planet? I think that could make for some awesome building challenges.

Making sluices and canals so that new water doesn't pile up on or around your structures sounds fun to me. Obviously there would need to be a way to dispose of or eliminate water though, otherwise any planet that got rain would eventually completely flood. Maybe the new fluid system will include evaporation.

 

I want the sky to turn black and have all npcs say "Watch the sky"

 

Meteor showers cuz then we can make epic looking screenshots.

Solar flares! Especially on planets with very little atmosphere!
