What weathers would you like to see?

What about raining actual things that might help you? (such as the meteors in Terraria) It would be great to see it rain (or things just flying around in some windy planet) that actually benefit you instead of just annoy you or blind you like normal rain does in most games.

 

yeah like one block of meteor per drop and if covers the area it rained in and you have to mine it out and every now and then there are some meteors you can use to make tools and armor (every10-15 blocks there is a usable meteor)

 

Nearly exactly what I was thinking except not JUST meteors, maybe it rains meteors with gold or some sort of deep-planet mineral that it acts just as a random event of some kind.

Or just, like, various rain colors. That'd be fine too. And acid rain is a neat concept obviously. If they implemented that, though, it'd have to be just enough of a pain in the ass that you'd want to seek shelter, but not so much that you'd die really really quickly.

 

Hey, that chocolate rain could go with my idea, the only way to get chocolate for cakes and such.

 

Chocolate rain + candy planet = Pure Win.

I would like to see a planet where it rains up or something. Just for the lulz.

once every month this guy comes to chocolate planet and sings for one whole day and night

 

High energy coronal discharge from a near by star, leaving colorful streams of plasma streaking through your world. Basically its a orbital laser strike and a lightning storm all on a clear sunny day. Step out side to be greeted by random pools of liquid glass, fire, and beams of high energy particles. The end result would be things like magnets and rare ceramics popping up everywhere.

wind rain snow flood blizzards (limits vision) sand storms (limits vision) tornado etc. etc. etc. mild weather all the way to extreme weather, depending on the planet

Sounds like a pretty interesting way, kind of like a changed version of the "acid rain" already mentioned.

 

acid rain would be good for planets like jupiter or saturn where it does damage to you, and your structures unless you make it out of material "x" or better kind of thing. Making weather something you may have to worry about on your explorations would be great.

go onto a moon like Io it is a constant blizzard you can't see very far in if you are on the surface

Goto a planet like mars, sandstorms that limit visibility and such

etc.. etc.. etc.. lots of things you can do with weather that would add alot of depth to the gameplay.

Yeah.I'd like to see things like gravity storms or electro manetic wind.Also bubbles.I want bubble rain as weather.
