What weaponry/equipment would you like to see in Starbound? Submit Some Fan-made Pictures?

Hello Community!

Just a very short and sweet thread I would like to start.

So, what weaponry/equipment would you like to see? Anything from a 'Monkey Powered Lazer Sword' to a 'DoDo Feather'. So, let's hear your ideas:

1. What is its name?
2. What abilities will this weapon have?
3. What sort of planet will you find it from?
4. How will it be obtained?

If you have anymore information you would like to include, go for it!

Just thought this would be a nice little thread for the community to share their ideas and to see what is going on in your minds!

 

Nonlocal Gauntlet: Basically a ranged melee attack. Anything in the direction of the punch takes melee damage, piercing more the better the gloves are. Some variants can also be used to grab things from a distance (maybe you could noodle lava dwelling fish with them).

They're developed by the player based on the research of some sort of cosmic event (like a supernova?). You'd probably have to splice the research on an existing melee weapon, perhaps as an upgrade.

 

Battle Suit
A full-body suit of high-tech armor, full of fun gadgets like rocket boots and/or something similar to the cloud-in-a-bottle from terraria, etc.
A Space Dwarf planet
Complete the quest for the King of the Space Dwarfs

 

Loving the ideas so far! No pictures? sadface.

 

Prod. Pushes your enemy a few feet away from you. You will discover it while training martial arts with space ninjas, in their frozen dojo.

Hahaha, I like that one a lot! True, who needs swords/guns, how about a Power Fist like in Fallout 3 Have some ninja suits of armour.

 

Personally I'm looking forward to a wide variety of grenades. Since everything is procedurally generated there would be some awesome ones.

 

There are already some threads like this, but this one requires a lot more detail and I like it ^_^

Bow or a crossbow. But without material arrows.
How? They materialize their own arrows.
Why? Is a pain to make/collect/buy arrows.
Would be very nice =)

 

A gun that shoots glowsticks, or a glowstick that shoots guns.

 

Or a gun that shoots guns that shoot chainsaws!
(try saying that out loud!)

 

A gun that shoots bouncy discs of doom.
Or a gun that fires superglue.

 

Some brain enchancing gear that let wearer use Psi to attack ennemies.

 

1. poison Launcher
2. Shoots poisonous substance in a capsule that can damage your enemies and have the chance to inflict a poison de-buff
3. Any random chest from any planet but not starter planets
4: Chests

I apologize for the terrible quality on this, but for some reason it does it.

I call it the "Bangsword" Radioactive technology meant for one thing: to kill. When it hits any enemies, it sends a shockwave of sound and slight radioactivity, which diseases most creatures, but it's very powerful.
