what was your first impression when you first heard of starbound?

Terraria of the future, on steroids. Ridiculous anticipation.

 

At first I didn't know what to believe.
Then I couldn't stop thinking about it.

 

First i was like "Terraria is discontiued i hate life meeep wait wtf is dis sheet, Starbound?"
Now i cannot wait for, Quote,

"Dis sheet, Starbound"

I honestly had no idea what it would be about.
I just knew it would be great.

 

To be honest I hated it I thought it was the reeason it killed Terraria ,but I learned the the leader of Re-logic just quitted to make babby's After seeing a few demos of the game and leaning more about it I grew ecstatic towards the game and it multiple aspects it brings

 

Mine was HELL YEAH!!!! ANOTHER AWESOME GAME!!! I loved Terraria, I would love this one too (more)!

I pretty much instantly fell in love with it. Terraria was one of my most favorite games ever, and Starbound looks like a much smoother and prettier version of it, with waaaaaaaaaaaay more stuff.

 

I actually got referred from the Terraria Forums and when I saw the game I was like: "What is this? Terraria 2.0? Looks cool!". I started to read the description of the game where it was all about etc. and I was browsing through the screenshots which actually made the game really interesting for me. Slowly I realised that I have to prepare for a new type of total awesomeness that I've never experienced before as a gamer.

 

I was stoked and knew it would be one of my main games I'd be playing.

 

When i first looked at starbound i thought that it was just copied off of terraria but then i started reading posts & such and now i see that its so much better than i thought.

 

Terraria in space with borderlands guns, A.K.A The greatest game since sliced bread.

 

When i first heard of it, i thought it was going to be a space themed RPG. I didnt like comparing it to terraria becuase its nothing like it.

 

When I first saw this on Gamespy my thoughts were a mix of curiosity and excitement. Been waiting for someone to finally make a sandbox game with a space opera setting, just wasn't sure if it was any good. Now, I think it has potential based on what I've seen.

 

Hey! I just got Terraria! I can't check this out now!

 

My reaction was basically

 

First I thought, "Cool Terraria 2".

Then I realized it was so much more.
