What Types Of Planets Are You Hoping For ?

Easy, 1 "Core" planet whos gravity is so strong that it keeps the little planets, who technically would be called Satellites, in close proximity of it orbiting.

 

That would be pretty cool. You could have a few different means of connecting the smaller planets (or even asteroids), such as ancient ruins, high tech corridors and other non-plant biological matter such as tentacles and slime.

 

what if the planets like that had a short life span so it would be very exclusive to find its special ores

 

I am pleased... I like the idea too because then you could also go into an idea of "fragmented planets" like a planet whos surface is covered in fissures and cracks to where you can see down to the core from.

All I hear in my mind when I read this is, "really big Sarlac Pit," or, "Unicron." But I like the idea of the planet being a boss. Like, having to destroy it's core, which may be a massive beating heart or central nervous system.

 

I'd want a quicksand planet. One where you sink a few inches into the surface and sandstorms that would bury buildings and you'd have to dig out your ship in order to take off. Not to mention the risk of running a sunburn as if you stayed on the beaches of california face up for a week. (the sunburns are optional. but i'd really like to see the sandstorms)

 

I didn't think of any good planets but I think one good one would be one that had an an ancient civilization living on it like the aztecs.

 

The creatures on the planet would be that of the ones from "The Mummy" ^_^

 

I want a planet that is all water, with normal sharks you can tame and ride

 

ooooh~ That would be fun. When you get deep, you could find hot ice or superfluid water!

I want a cybertronic robotic planet, with transformerz robotic life-forms.

 

I personally think that a cybertronic planet with transformers would be better

 

If we can't have My Little Pony mounts, I doubt we'll have Transformers. Though I would not mind either being in there.

Not exactly sure how big some planets would be, but I'm really fond of the inverted gravity planet idea. The planet itself is difficult to get near, due to the outward gravity pressure, and once you reach there, you find that the planet itself is hollow, and its inhabitants walk on the inner surface of the planet.

 

I can't believe I never thought of that.... Oh my god.

They made that as a joke ? As in it will never appear in the game ? That is one of the most epic things I have ever seen....
If people knew that there was a My Little Pony mount in Starbound, they would buy the game just for that haha, people love (including me) My Little Pony
