What Types Of Planets Are You Hoping For ?

Really mountainous planets, with big canyons and tall mountains~
As well as a lake at the bottom of some canyons and on top of some mountains~
I like mountains c:

 

Like Sir_Animus said before me, giant space-animal planets.
I mean, come on. Exploring the back of a giant cosmic turtle? Genius.

A planet where all of the plants and creatures explode.

 

Metal/artificial planets. If they aren't already there, I'll just make one though.

 

I would have to say I would be most interested in having a planet with eternal darkness. I love the feeling of peace and tranquility and darkness is what gives me those feelings. Plus the creatures and plants that live on the planet would surely be unique because they only live in darkness and would have different behaviours than those in the light.

 

Halo.

 

A relatively small planet that is constantly ravaged by earthquakes due to a huge monster living in the core. The planet's boss would be that monster, and there would be a few quests involved. The terrain would have a lot of volcanoes and huge lava-filled chasms on the surface. It would be relatively tropical. Typical inhabitants would be hostile flying animals, lava-inhabiting fire-breathing lizards that prefer to stay underground or in lava at day time, and Avians or another playable race that can survive with lava/heat. (Possibly a lizard race?)

Shortened version: Tropical planet with lava chasms and volcanoes. Ravaged by earthquakes because of giant monster inside the core.



A planet where everything that dies is possessed by a spirit (or reanimated by some sort of gas or something on the planet if there's absolutely no non sci-fi stuff in it), hobbling around like a zombie. In multiplayer, these planets are especially dangerous because if a friend dies, they get game-over and respawn wherever and an npc that is scaled to their power appears and attacks you. The only way to permanently kill anything on the planet is with explosives.

Shortened Version: A wasteland planet where everything that dies is reanimated (by spirits or some other sci-fi means)

 

1) Glass planet and/or planet that has been glassed (sci-fi term I guess)
where you have to break holes in the huge glass surface to find varied underground things

2) Planets like in Nausicaa the movie (details are a spoiler)

What I really want to see are planets that diverge from horizontal surface biomes, and incorporate vertical biomes rather than having a strict underground layer system in place
This is assuming that finding worlds that deviate from "Earth-like" is rare

Pretty much a city planet like coruscant from star wars. Populated with city folk and npcs etc..

 

Give me an Ice Planet, and I'm set.

 

I kind of want to see a Steampunk planet. Essentially, a robotic planet made up of metal and gears, and stuff like that.

 

Steampunk and Jungle seem like they would be the most enjoyable for me.

Dinosaurs are scary, why would I want that?

 

I want me a swamp planet like on The show swamp people with gators crocs snakes and all sort of swamp critters. Let's go get us some gators!
