What Types Of Planets Are You Hoping For ?

I think a dyson sphere planet would be really cool. That idea always caught my eye.

 

Like the vacuum?

 

I feel a bit silly, but I'm not sure what you mean by "the vacuum". Dyson Spheres don't necessarily have to be a vacuum, if that's what you mean. Think Cocoon from Final Fantasy XIII or the Shield Worlds from Halo. Those kind of things. The 'surface' of the planet is actually on the inside of the sphere, surrounding an artificial sun (usually).

 

Ooooh that would be awesome! See I was thinking of the brand of Vacuum cleaners. like the "Dyson ball" lol.

 

Oh. Haha. That's what you meant. Naw, a Dyson sphere is a theoretical thing that some scientist came up with. Pretty insane concept.

 

Yeah man. It sounds intense, definitely would like to see that in the game.

 

It is a really cool concept. A dyson sphere would be cool, especially if you could upgrade your ship into one.

 

Some kind of very rare planet which it's textures look similair to Terraria's textures, but in an abandoned state (reference to the permanent update freeze of Re-Logic). Don't know if this is going to be a trouble with copyrights, but it would be fun if it could be done

An abandoned terraria world. I like that, sounds like a cool concept. Wouldn't it be funny to see like the guide fossilized in stone? lol.

A completely mechanic world, everything is made out of metal and is a robot.

 

Plus, friggin' zombies come lurching out at night! To be honest, Terraria worlds always DID feel pretty abandoned, even when we were playing them! It was like trying to live in some demon-infested hell-world gone wrong, where the only survivors were a motley bunch of weirdos who'd just so happened to avoid getting their brains munched on.

 

This is very much true. But I meant more like, it looked like it had been built on. And then deserted, so everything is overgrown and destroyed. Stuff like that.

 

Oh, sure... I got that part of it... but zombies! Lurching! Darkness!

In all seriousness, though, I do love the whole 'homage/nod' to Terraria thing. Especially with the idea of overrun buildings and such. Not that I think it has a prayer's chance of happening. But it'd still be pretty awesome.

Heh. Maybe it could be the 'result planet' you get for having your coordinates somehow relate to Terraria.

 

Meh. If it happens, cool. But I would love to see deserted planets for sure. Terrarian or not. lol

There's nothing that entices me to explore more than the ancient ruins of long-dead civilizations. It makes my graverobbing, piratey ways feel much less terrible when I can relax knowing that all my new shiny loot has been unowned for a quarter of a million years. Besides, that green faced dude with the horns was probably a real jerk anyway! He's not going to need it where he went off to!
