What Types Of Planets Are You Hoping For ?

Candy land planet. Or a gooey planet

 

I want a planet that it a giant cube.

 

I also want an artificial planet, it would be cool to make a planet of your own which stimulates the environment of planets that you discovered....

 

Oooo, I very very very very(x10000) much like that idea!

 

I like to see V’ger from the 1st Star Trek Movie, maybe as an unique or easteregg.
Skynet and the Borg i like too. ^^

 

-A tiberium planet where I can take its poisonous crystals and have it spread to other planets
-A planet that is terrorized by one giant, powerful being. A boss planet if you will. Should probably contain large deposits of rare minerals
-Medieval planet. Hey man, sometimes we just want to indulge in blowing up primitives.

 

A planet composed of 98% non-newtonian fluids. It could be inhabited by jelly people.
Or a planet whose atmosphere is highly flammable, so guns and lasers are a bad idea.
Or a planet inhabited entirely by hot green women. I'll settle for that.

 

a water planet and a cave planet, with little to nothing outside but with lots of things to do inside it.

also a canyon planet.

also a living planet, where the planet is actually a very big living being.

 

You know what would be good? A planet like Uranus, knocked onto its side, so one side is constantly in darkness, and the other is constantly in light. On side would be peaceful and full of life, whereas the other would be completely evil.

Also, an atmosphere-less planet like Mercury, with very deep craters and contrast between day and night.

 

I hope for a huge variety of planets.

One reason why I stopped playing Terraria was because all of the worlds, despite being randomly generated, feel the same. Same biomes, same monsters, same loot. They are just located in different places.

For Starbound, I want every planet I explore to feel completely different from the last. That way, instead of being,

"I'm bored. I've already seen everything, so I'm going to quit playing this game."

it will be,

"I'm bored. Time to travel to another planet!"

 

A planet full of humans would be awesome!

 

I'd want icy gas planets :0 Like Uranus Neptune

 

Another planet I would like to see is a high-mineral content planet, covered in metallic crystals.

I think a all mechanical planet would be cool. Build by robots to make more robots.

How about a trashdump planet. Filled with used hypos, rats, and trainable junkyard dogs. Loaded with organic fuels (for flamethrowers, etc) if you dig deep enough through the rotting waste.

I hope dosen't have a planet filled with snakes... (dramatisation!)

Zero:*Lands on the planet and looks around the unfamiliar grounds* Well... this place looks nice. *as he steps out of the ship he notices a small snake beside his foot* GAAAAH! A SNAKE!!! KILL IT!*Gets axe and cuts its head off* Well that was fast, I shoudn't over react yet... Right? *Walks a few steps till a snake 50x the size of him crushes the ship* Oh for crying out loud! I just got that thing fixed!*Tosses the axe at it with all his rage to only have it bounce off*Oh F**k... RUN LIKE SPITSGAH!*Runs away but only to be a futile effort*

 

I'm really hoping for a grassy planet that is engulfed in a medieval warzone with multiple, or maybe just two, factions at war. You happen to arrive on this planet derping away with your army of penguins and deer, and you are immediately thrusted into the middle of a small skirmish. Going left or right will decide which side you will fight for, or against. This will begin a chain of quests of you liberating a planet for freedom...

Maybe that's just what I want out of one storyline arc, but medieval-based with small magic tribes is ideal for me on a planet ^o^
