What type of weapons could you see yourself using all the time?

I would be using a black sword, and I hope there could be melee movements, like kicks and punches.

 

Huge, destructive, flaming greatsword. I would use that and a jetpack. Pure awesome.

 

siegfried's sword from soul caliber III, paired with a plasma pistol

 

Claws would be kind of rad.

 

An energy weapon (or two if they're 1handed) that can (re)generate it's own ammo, since I have no idea how ammo will be managed, and mostlikely dual swords
wonder if swords will get slight blocking or parrying capabilities...

 

A big mallet, the bigger the better

 

And a piano! You never know when it'll come in handy.

Dual Revolvers (Western Style) and a two handed Sword

Silly, it's from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Towels are indeed one of the most useful tools in an adventurer's arsenal, and can at times be used as a weapon.

Well, a Sonic Screwdriver isn't really a weapon, but I would take a Sonic Screwdriver over a weapon any day.
