What type of weapons could you see yourself using all the time?

I'd have 3 choices pretty much, either a 2-handed glaive or other spear/lance like weapon.
And my other ones would be a Ninja sword, or just a small knife.
I might also throw in a pistol with one of the blades just for fun.
Never underestimate a knife, heheh.

 

For melee, a knife of some sort. That or a giant ass laser sword.
For guns, Assault rifle of lasers.

 

I like a balance of power and precision. Gimme a steady revolver with some stopping power and watch the headshots fly!

 

With a rifle primarily and if enemies get too close I'd switch to my melee weapon. Yes its boring but its practical.

I'd preferred to use any melee weapon, supplied by something using replenishable energy for ranged attacks. No ammo. I hate ammo.

So, perhaps a combat chainsaw or a phaseblade accompanied by laser sniper rifle and some sort of energetic rapid fire weapon. Probably something close to the plasma gun from Doom. Also, I'd loved to have some powerful thrusting spear-like melee weapon with a bit of range to fight slow but tough enemies.

Well, if there's a grappling hook type thing and it worked similarly to how ropes worked in the Worms games instead of how they worked in Terraria, I think I'd use them more than anything. Zip around a cavern dropping bombs on everything!

 

Duel Harpoons that shoot three chains each.

 

As my main weapon, a katana looking weapon, for my backup, sheer awesomeness.

 

Probably an insanely powerful shotgun, or a petrified cat sword

Likely the same. Either long-range - cool and cold-blooded, or melee - up-close and personal. Though if I have the choice I like large two-handed swords combined with high speed/agility and/or sniper rifles.

Of course, this can all change depending on what kinds of weapons I see and how will they work. I might use a pistol if I see that they work out best for me in this game. Or almost anything, as long as it works well and it's not something I really dislike.

So I'm quite adaptable really. I'll see what they give us and how it works first.
