What type of weapons could you see yourself using all the time?

probably because we're being a bit more original than taking weapons from another video game. i for one havent even played any of those ganes

 

edit: screw not being orginal dual wielding machine guns.

 

If i could get a shrink ray (a'la Duke Nukem 3D) that would be fun for the longest time... But otherwise, i would easily go wtih a big hammer and a rifle for backup.

 

Two pistols identical to the one Tiy's sprite has in one of the screen shots and some sort of SMG and a Shotgun, and maybe a sort of grenade launcher. I'm thinking realistically of what will be in the game. >_>

Though probably not... but its still sci fi! The chance is still there.

If it could be done correctly I would go with Kusarigamas all the way.
But I'm probably going to be going with a Sword and Pistol combo or a two-handed Axe and a Bow for the ranged. Although I'm not sure if or how two-handed stuff will work.

 

well... you wield a weapon and you cant wear anything else in the other slot?

 

I figured that is how it would be but I've not read anything about it so I wasn't sure if they are even going to be in the game.

Probably a katana. I love them.

 

Some ranged weapon in main hand, and a sword in the other hand. No shield. Feel like a pro.

I'm the type of guy that likes to use shotguns/ bolt action rifles etc.
I take careful aim before shooting, instead of spraying.

So you spray shotguns instead of aiming? That's a bit hard.

 

Shotgun is close-range spraying weapon, so I lol'd.
Anyway, I don't use shotguns.
