What type of adventurer will you be?

Welcome soon to be space travelers.
I was personally wondering what you will do in Starbound. Will you focus on capturing animals or building weapons, or maybe just hunt just about anything you can.
What will you do?

 

My diabolical plan is to, you guessed it! Take over the worldsss!

 

Hard to say since we aren't really sure what features will be in the release and which will be pushed back into post-release realm.

Personally, I call my style of play the "librarian" style: connoisseur, collector, and builder. I avoid combat as long as it's not absolutely necessary for the task at hand, and I love designing massive and fancy structures to organize my collections of everything useful and pretty, including tools, weapons, jewels and lifeforms. In a team, I'd rather be the healer/engineer.

 

While I cannot make any final decisions until release. I know that I would very much like to play in a bounty hunter/assassin/adventurer (Think Indiana Jones)/Scout type character. I want to be able to help out a team a lot, but be entirely efficient on my own.

 

I'll be the Expert on animal behaviors. But Ffs, over 1 Mil of Mob Combos Fuuu.

 

I'll probably just hoard everything until I figure out whats trash.

Well, since I'm going to play as a robot...

 

I plan to be a biological and botanical adventurer, mainly focused on discovering plants and animals that Spark my interest and Tickle my fancy. My goal is to assemble and construct a well-designed garden that varies and travels from surface to caves.

• If it glows, it shows.
• If it shines, it's mine!
• Make room for Shrooms!
• plant grass in mass
• Shrubs around the hubs

 

I will most likely grab my weapons and try to level up as quickly as possible to farm endgame tech and items
After then i will collect tiles and build, provide friends with valuables in exchange for shelter ... something like that

 

I'll probably work on catching 3 Virorbs first, so that my enemies will be stuck and helpless as I farm for stuff.

Then, I'll work on a heavily offensive playstyle, most likely dual pistols or something.

 

I was about to say that joke.

I would slowly upgrade, selling materials to other corporations on the server.
I'd make a store on every major planet.

My main character will be a teuthologist who scours the galaxy and searches for new and exciting tentacle planets and other inter-galactic cephalopod related creatures. Every tentacle planet she finds will be extensively explored, both on the surface and underground. All sorts of data will be collected (both important and trivial) about these planets and their natural inhabitants.

Her name will be Olive, and she will risk everything for the sake of knowledge.

 

Since I'm co-leader of my clan, I'll be spending most of my time organizing the clan.
Sending out members to perform reports on planets, handing people jobs to do etc.

I'll also be spending a lot of my time hunting down monsters for pets. Preferably mini T-rexes.

 

Well Kirby i have been thinking a lot about it lately and i think i might go with a type of engineering or building weapons/ vehicles something along those lines.

 

Hmmm... I belong to the Mercenaries Guild, Defensive Unit. I'll gladly accomplish my missions so I can get myself a nice fortune.
Step by step, I'll get my hands on the best armors and weapons. No alien will be safe from my sword-pistol-&-shield techniques!
And of course, I will also build an awesome place to live in and store my shiny stuff. At a planet with a really high threat level, so one would dare get close to mah house!
