Starbound, I hate to admit anything but... I think Im in love with you. I love the new weapons, monsters, challenges, and other things coming up.
That spinning sword attack looks like it's beating stuff up with the BLUNT SIDE of the Blade! Swords are so stupid! Also, it makes me happy that if Flying Mining Mechs don't make it into Vanilla, their getting Modded in will be totally possible!

Wonder if Steam could go a step farther & enable Hosting a Starbound Server on their end so that Clans & groups of pals & such can play together on a Server available 24/7 & not answer to people's time constraints or time zones? *Wonders if i'm totally dreaming on this...*
Wow, so many cool games and updates coming in such a short time period! I'm really looking forward to, well, everything on the blog post. I especially wanna hunt for those unique weapons you spoke of. Oh, also... how will storing vehicles on your ship work? I always pictured a hangar with robotic repair arms and a large teleporter for moving vehicles.

Would hate to see the current bosses leave the game. I miss the Bone Dragon and others enough as it is. All the changes sound exciting either way though.
Hmm... since weapons are the main focus of the next patch, I wonder if weapon-tier backers (like myself) will see their wishes granted soon.
That falls under polish. Optimisation is literally the last thing you do in development. However, due to the nature of early access, almost every single update has had minor and major performance improvements.
Very awesome! One small request though: Can you please add craftable dungeon shield generators that we can activate and define the protected area? The game would run slower, I know, but could they just be small or medium sized generators with limited range so that they only load in the vicinity of a player or players? This would be cool if we want to designate "no mining" areas or not have the terrain burn or blow up when using those awesome new weapons! Again, very cool stuff! Very inspired!
Almost there to getting the game out of early access! nice! and I love the sound of this director mode... it sounds AWESOME.
Am I the only one who noticed Bonus-Kun in there? And here I thought I was the only one who had played Waku Waku 7 and Galaxy Fight..
Why not extend the updates made to weapons to armor and make them scriptable as well? Would be cool to have armor pieces with special abilities, such as boots that leave behind a trail of fire as you move that hurts enemies, boots that allow you to jump higher, chest piece emits a shockwave randomly when you are hit, etc.
Its finally happening. After all these years, we're coming up on 1.0. Seriously looking forward to getting back into this game
