Found a harmonica, so I added "Ain't no Sunshine When She's Gone". It actually sounds cool.

Also, I got One Winged Angel from FF7. It's quite comical on my blues harp

Wait wut. Excuse my ignorance but how do you put music in the game?

 

go to you steamapps/common/starbound/songs folder and drop .abc file's in the map .
Or make a text file and copy the code and change the extention to .abc .
file's are commonly found here -> www.lotro-abc.com

When your in lotro-abc.com wait awhile before scrolling down, theres a music player in the website,you probably want to turn it off

 

how do you get the songs from fat lute? i seem to only be able to save the web page when i do right click and save.

 

you copy everything from X:1 down to the bottom in an textfile you created , and change the extention to .abc

note: some songs have instrument specific parts only copy the part for the instrument you will use or by default the lute part.

 

Damn. I'd really like to hear Game of Thrones theme in a Starbound band! With the drums and stuff! Oh my!

You can also enter it by hand if you have the sheet music for it. Something like EasyAbc would help. Personally I use ABCExplorer.

If you have the midi, and want to convert it, could use something like MidiZyx2abc.

Don't know music, but have the sheet? Well you COULD use an OMR software like Smartscore, but that will set you back about 50$. As far as I know the only freeware OMR (Audiveris)is still very much a work in progress. Either way, those can generate a MIDI for you to then use in a Midi2ABC program to get the ABC.

Or you can just use notepad (like my first awful attempts to learn ABC)

[Aside: the abc was a major selling point on starbound for me. Hope it just thrives and improves~ ]

 

Where can you find instruments? Or can you craft them? I've been playing a while, but never found any. Keep in mind I haven't defeated the penguins yet.
