What "role" would you like to take the most in PvP?

Not further specifying possible options due to how certain PvP systems are advanced compared to others.

Offense
Offensive players (not offensive as those who offend others) are the ones who deal out the most of the damage in a given team/squad/clan. Be it glass cannons, who lack in health or tanks* who have speed deficits.

*dunno if tanks are considered offense or defense

Defense
Defensive players usually can take the most hits upon themselves before dying, but oftenly lack in firepower (not always the case, though).

Support
Supportive players don't directly fight, but instead use their wide range of unique powers to aid the team - be it healing, reducing damage taken by others or increasing damage dealt, a team without supportive players would quickly fall.

And of course, I fail at describing. Oh well.
Still, I think that being a support class is what makes it epic. Since it's you that mostly keep the others alive, or take out the danger faster. (sound awkward now that I write it.)

Support. Definitely support. Most people will either go Offense or Defense, so a good few Support players can turn the tide of a battle very easily.

I'd want to be someone who uses potions with rare ingredients she farmed herself to buff and heal allies~

In PVP, most players will either distract/avoid the tank entirely to go for the fleshy people, so I like being a paladin type. Able to support herself AND others. Not a squishy cleric.

 

The role of sticking the pointy end of this metal sword in the other guy (or girl), or BOOM HEADSHOTS.

Tanks are usually defensive in nature, low to mid damage but extremly high survability.

 

A pony! But I'd be a defending healer or a attacking/defender.

 

High end economic disaster, that's what I play. Nothin' but attrition. A simply delightful mix of property destruction and petty arson. To sum it up, I break things.

 

I'll CRUSH. KILL. DESTROY. SWAG. And if you pay me I'll just kill or destroy or crush, but for my swag you'll need to pay more

 

Sniper.Use a big rifle with a 12x scope behind everyone.

 

With the amount of freedom a game like this would give you, i could see myself changing on the fly.

 

They said it's not quite possible, given the fact that the "sense-making" full sets would require a lot of items (more than one could carry in their inventory), and random stuff wouldn't quite work...

I was thinking more along the lines of block placement and digging then i was items, but thats good to know, thank you.

 

Support/offense.Actually I'm pretty good avoiding attacks and placing traps.

 

I probably will not be playing PvP, but if I'm bored, I'll grab a laser battle-axe and go to town on somebody's innards.

 

Sniper, a 50.cal bullet flying through the skull of an unlucky victim at incredible speeds from an incredible distance.
Always been a sniper, always will be.

 

The guy in the back, way way in the back, firing the artillery shells. Why snipe with a 1/2 ounce bullet when you could be sniping with 100 pound shells?

I'm a medic sniper usually.

 

In Guild Wars, I was a Paragon.
In WoW, I was a Disc Priest.
In Maple, I was a Cleric.
In League, i'm the guy that calls Support.

As you can see, i'm an altruist. I love supporting people through buffs, mitigation and/or healing. Support ftw!

 

I'm the person watching the flag/goal/capture/intel and does nothing when it's being captured.

 

I would be the guy who get's you when your trying to get someone else.
