What race do you plan on choosing and why?

I'm definitely going to be an avian. This will be the first game I've played where I get to be a bird type human thing =D

I won't really vary it...I'll probably stick to Avian forever. Nothing against humans but I'm already a human...so I want to be something else...and apes...meh it doesn't appeal to me like being a bird does

 

They seem the most unique and cool, avians that is.

 

I'm not sure, actually! I'm kind of stuck between the avians and, surprisingly, the humans, for this game. However, it'd be pretty cool if they added a lizard-like/amphibious race to Starbound - I'd definitely choose it!

 

There's only 3 races?

 

i would chose Reptile, Avian, and Wolfmen. Maybe bearmen! or robot or undead xD

 

If there is no human-snake cross breed, I'll stick to my roots as a human. I'm one of those people who like to feel like they're actually in the game, so my character always looks like me.

 

As of right now? Yes, I believe so!

 

I choose the option "I'm gonna wait for more to come out" then.

I suppose I should have said something more like "As of right now which race..." but I didn't. My bad. o.o

 

I will play Avian. I love birds. And I love the idea of a tribal bird race, that is advanced and primitive at the same time.

 

I hope there are some lizard people. Playing as an Argonian in TES3 has got me spoiled.

 

In that case, I'd play as human until there was a mod that let me play as a catgirl.

If there is such, I wish to be an android. Accepted by technology, and the people that use them ^_^ Until we band together, come in large numbers and overtake the other races .___.

 

I would choose the Avian race as of my first character because it looks amazing! The idea of being a tribal sort of race that gets mixed with advanced technology is very appealing to me. They seem so unique in both appearance and the way they act.
