What race are you going to be? And why?

A Novakid so I can become a white dwarf.

 

I'll either be a laid back, "cool" Floran or a hyperactive, lunatic Novakid.

 

For the 18-billionth time, Glitch.
Becuase, they are robots. And knights.
Two of my favorite things rolled into one.

 

Going to roll with a self-insert human to roleplay, but have a character of every race for derping about with.
On the same 'world' if possible.

 

So our reproduction system is dangerous?
Those darn lego traps man, oh the pain.

 

I'll probably go Hylotl, but I'm still waiting on a "Meet the Hylotls!" post to decide.
I like the Japanese style they're (probably) going to have.

My second choice is Apex. Part of me really wants to build a huge underground mad-scientist-esque secret layer and Apex fits that motif the best so far.
Plus, the hinted-at armor perks saying that Apex might get a boost to jumping sound like it could be useful. (I dislike Avian aesthetics to go with them for gliding.)

 

I am going to be a Novakid, because I find the concept of a race of cowboys that appear to be made of pure energy fascinating.

 

Aye, I was a human at first, but changed to Novakid. They are a fascinating race, and every since they announced it as a stretch goal I was hooked. I read both Novakid and Anodyne suggestion threads for a better look at them.

As a Novakid I wanted to give him somewhat of a back story where he is basically one of the smarter Novakid. He has an unnatural attachment to the human race as he thinks they're fascinating, and doesn't really like to associate with any other races. He's always searching for a purpose in the universe, and tries to help anyone he can as long as he doesn't hurt anyone.

 

Going to be a Glitch. I came up with a small backstory for a particular model named "Tetanus". I will not bore you with the details, other than the fact that he's going to enjoy the hell out of using laser-axes.

Human because we're the master race and totally sexy.

 

Hylotl. < 3 Not much is known about the culture and lore but I'm frankly just loving their cute looks (space orcas with a third eye yay!) It's a shallow reason but eh, one gotta play the game ina way that makes it enjoyable for them and mine's by playing cute aquatic amphaibians~ The Japanese culture thing is a bit meh, just being neutral to it, just as long as Ican end up in some big, beefy, slow armor and a hammer to stomp stuff and go al lBehemothLeviathan everywhere. Plus hey, underwater bases and domes, those are always awesome.
Otherwise, I know I'll have 3 million characters of different species anyway, just my main will be Hylotl.

 

I'm thinking Floran b/c I'm a nature kind of person with a bad attitude but the Novakids announcement got me thinking. hmmmmmm So many choices!!!!!!
