What Mods Do You Want To See?

All of them

A really in-depth farming mod would be great.

 

I think I'd like to see... a Planet Buster. Expensive to make, dangerous to use, but it reduces the planet to just free-floating chunks of rock with no atmosphere. Safer than nuking a planet into dust, plus the asteroids could be turned into a point defense system to park your ship inside. Also, land crabs, from small, nearly-harmless ones to colossal crabs that come ashore to wreak havoc. Maybe there could be a giant crab robot boss that was built by one of the Glitch civilizations that wiped themselves out...

 

I would love to see races mods really, I have always loved large racial diversity and while this game holds more than your average, one can never have enough

 

A lovecraftian inspired mod would be amazing, i can only hope though.
All i want is a miniature-Cthulhu pet

 

If they don't implement it during/after release, I would like to see:

A mod that creates:

Zero Oxygen/Gravity worlds, where you would have to have special gear and equipment to explore.

A more complex diving system where depth, amount of oxygen, and what gear you have matters.

 

I'd also like a mod similar to IndustrialCraft on Minecraft.

Machines require power to run so you have to make generators and wire it to machines. You can then make machines which can further process things for greater output (1 iron ore = 2 iron dust = 2 iron bars). Among other cool things.

 

Ring worlds.

 

A new idea just came to me. Some kind of Biohazard mod to add to the survival issues in game. Things like viruses and what not with effects ranging from minor temporary debuffs to eventual death without a cure or with prolonged exposure.

I'd like to see some kind of enhanced survival mod with stuff like viruses Felonious mentioned. And other stuff like you need a balanced diet (can't survive on just one type of food!), injuries (like fall damage injuring legs, slowing you), needing to bathe... Just some thoughts.

 

To be honest I'm wondering what's the point of makin' threads about mods if even beta wasn't released yet. Wouldn't it be better to post that kind of stuff as ideas for in-game content?

 

Some ideas (particularly the good ones) either tend to be shot down or completely ignored because of an avalanche of other suggestions. Not to mention the devs aren't going to add everything we suggest, so we might as well speculate in favor of mods because we can at least rely on them to pick up things the devs would not (or cannot) implement.

 

Still it's pointless. By sharing your idea as suggestion for game content you're gettin' chance (maybe not big, but always) for it to get implemented and even if devs won't get intrested in it someone else may like your idea and use it for mod after game release. That's only my opinion, if ya want to spend your time on threads like this then do it, I just shared my opinion about it and asked why actually are ya doing this.

 

You're spending your time in threads like this. At this point, I think the vast majority of the suggestions are likely to go unadded, because now the dev's are pushing for beta and release, and probably have their hands full of planned content. The suggestion forum is still nice for future modders, and for future updates, but there's no harm in seeking conversation on content that the devs are either reluctant to add or legally inclined not to add.

 

Nah, I'm not spendin' much time on this forum, especially outside offtopic, I've just seen on main page that there's another thread like this. Still in my opinion threads like this are pointless because simply you can make suggestion and if people get intrested in it you still can keep conversation about it. Posting stuff like "i want superpower mod with stuff liek lasers from eyes, omg that would be awesome" is just waste of time, but as I said that's my opinion and if someone wants to spend time like this then it's his / her choice. And to make it clear, arguing about stuff like this is pointless too, especially here, on public forum. If ya REALLY want to continue it then don't make more mess in there and just PM me. That's all from me.

 

And as for contributing to the actual thread, I would want a movement enhancement mod. I'm talking the ability to run faster than you do in-game without having to rely on gear, ledge-grabbing, an improved falling animation, crouch-sliding, wall-jumping, and so on.

Essentially Megaman X movement physics. I would be most happy.

Oh oh oh. And sword combos. Seriously, I want a one-two-three-awwyiss.png feeling from melee combat.

 

I want a mod(or likely more than one) that lets me go to other video game themed worlds to fight and collect things from those games.

Go to a Mega Man themed world and get a Zero's sword replica and/or an X Buster! Find tech that makes you die or teleport to and from your ship like Mega Man!
MLP world to slaughter ponies and maybe keep an iconic one or 2 as a pet or battle companion! Day and night changing or chaos tech! Build a house made of clouds?! F yea!
Kingdom Hearts? Get a keyblade to fight Heartless! Go to the KH world to go to other worlds to fight Heartless and find more stuff!

The possibilities are near endless...

Also a Floran buttrub dance mod for the lols

 

Extra boss fights and such.

I'd like to see a modded boss that fights in 3 stages, getting increasingly stronger in each stage. And he warps around too!

 

That's easy enough. Port any end-game Kingdom Hearts boss ever.
