What mod would you want to make?

Lets just say we all know how to add mods to Starbound.

My question is: Which mod would YOU want to make?

I think the first mod I would want to make would be a weapon called the DROP THE BASS, it would be a gun that transforms into a huge subwoofer, and after the BASS is DROPPED, the target player is knocked a couple hundred miles, breaking any terrain in its way. It would be mainly for hilarious MP moments.

I'd have to know what's in the game for sure, first. I can think of a lot of stuff, but some of it might be in without an announcement.

 

Tentacle cannon.

 

A mod that makes forum members! (this was discussed somewhere else before)
For example, it makes Wox appear randomly and throw likes at you.

homestuck complete conversion mod.

 

Massive survival-focused mod. Food poisoning, cooking, etc. Not knowing a food is poisonous until you've had it before, attempting to determine if it'll be poisonous before you eat it using books / research that you might find, as well as asking villagers about said food. And more.

 

I'd put intimidation into the game so nothing small tries to eat me Nobody likes getting nibbled at.
That or earthquakes

 

In all seriousness, a mod for ammunition.
In no seriousness, a mod that adds a shovel to hit ducks with.

 

A hardcore survival mod.

Totally some new races, really great ideas for new races on the forums already.

 

Would it add a Blind Sniper (self-explanatory)?

 

But of course! It could possibly also add some sort of a blast... like... an Astro blast...

 

Also, some variety of leader rodent, try an ALPHA MONGOOSE?

I would make a mod that adds cylons, the Borg, and maybe a few others.

 

I will make an awesome electric guitar to fight monsters with the power of rock!

I want to add two species to the game, each with their own special abilities alongside look, technology tree, and story progression.

THE BORG
A Human experiment with Glitch robotics and Apex nanotechnology has resulted in a new species; a hybrid organic and technologic race linked into a hive mind with one goal: the assimilation of as much advanced technology, and superior species as possible.
Any sentient humanoid species you find, you can assimilate like pets. You can more easily create and modify technologies you find.You can give simple tasks to drones within your collective. You can upgrade personal shields to absorb energy attacks, but you are more vulnerable to meele attacks, and your movements are slowed. When you die, you take control of a random drone you have assimilated. All other speices are afraid of you, and theyw ill be hostile until you assimilate, or destroy them.
The main colors are black and green, a conglomeration of tech all over the place. No centralized structure, but symmetric designs.
Find the most advanced planet, and assimilate it to claim as your Unimatrix!

THE ANCIENTS
You are a group of Alterans, escaping from their oppressive religious brethren, the Ori.
Your culture is centered around science and rational thought, and your goal is to study the very nature of reality itself.
You start with a small Destiny era shuttle, and you try to rebuld your civilization of former glory.
One of the most advanced technologies you invent is the Stargate. Within your universe, you can seed Stargates on planets and moons that are suitable to life, and travel from one to the next by inputting the correct address of the planet you are trying to dial. The benefit is traveling from planet to planet without the need of an FTL jump, but you do not travel with your ship.
Research the mysteries of the universe, and rebuild your former glory of an empire!


You will find Borg and Ancient outposts scattered around the galaxy as isolated Ancient research stations, and half assimialted outposts of other species. As other species, you can trade freely with Ancients you may come across, but be warned, the Borg will try to assimilate you on sight if you are a threat, or carry with you technology more advanced than theirs!
