What makes your skin crawl?

Things you can't see but know are there. For example, something's growling around a corner, but you don't know if it's facing your direction. Do you dare look and risk being eaten?

Well, a situation that I really hate is when my torch or light source extinguishes and I become enveloped in complete darkness. If there are enemies nearby, THAT CAN PHASE THROUGH WALLS then something in me will eventually take a crap. On one world that had hard mode activated a phantom came by and went through my house's wall, and since it was my first time playing I completely freaked out because I was not expecting that in the least bit. And... yeah, something crapped in me and I started mumbling "WHAT THE FUCK" as I laughed my head off.

Ugh, now I thought about strange, disgusting sounds coming from some enemy head-humper in Starbound.

 

I found that video a looong time ago and had forgotten about it. That makes me more nauseous than skin crawly.
