    Let's say that cat can reduce the monster spawning. Dogs will warn you if the creature near you is hostile or not. The penguin make you less vulnerable to the cold. The elephant allowed you to doing damages if you jump on an ennemy. The pony can locate food....etc

    Tentacle kitty is already tameable and it'll be as usefull as the real cat pet, maybe a bit more :3
