What kind of house do you want?

In this picture it looks like there will be no lack of house design and various appliances so what is your dream house?

Mine will be some sort of under water house with some sort of garden and a roof that peaks out of the water with something ( to be decided ) on top.

 

I want one with a picture of Eddie Murphy in it. Wait...

 

I want a nice cozy little cottage to settle in, maybe it can lead underground into some super large technologic bunker where i do my research.

 

THIS ONE:

 

Something underground. Something huge.
A whole underground fortress, unseen from the surface. The lair of demons. The place where bad things lurk around every corner, and yet remains somber, beautiful... A place where righteous men dare not tread.
The perfect lair for a mad hermit, driven insane by the whispers of the men he's killed.

 

It'll be like a dock house where half of it is on land and the other half is out in the water. And when they implement boats, I'll have the perfect garage for it.

 

In both Minecraft and Terraria I have the habit of building a small house and then expanding it up and down.
In Minecraft it's usually near the spawn but not super close to it.
In Terraria I build so that the spawn point is inside the house.

I probably picked this habit because in both Minecraft and Terraria it keeps me very safe while building.
Only flying creatures can get to me when I'm building up and only burrowing creatures can get to me when I'm building down.

I'll probably end up building a tower in Starbound, too.
It'll just be much better decorated than my previous ones.

I'll mess around with circuits, sentry guns, weather control machines... all the crazy stuff in my tower!

Fun fact: All except two lines on this post start with "I", 'cos I'm awesome.

Bah. You guys are boring! Where are all the torture chambers? Prisons covered in blood? T_T

 

I've always enjoyed making large, modern-like houses in the overground, and having something completely opposite to that underground, like a medieval, or whatever comes to my mind

 

I made something like that in minecraft classic, was a mirror image of the tower underground, even dug out a bit and replaced the dirt with blue wool to make it look like sky.

 

I like to stick with the theme sort of, so I'll likely go with some form of ultramodern facility, like the ones we saw in the water demo. Not sure what sort of eye candy we can build, but I'll do what I can upon release.

I'd want a swamp/ SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER HIGH UP jungle house. So I can drop my enemies in a pit of poisonous goldfish or poisonous swamp gas or alligators or swamp plants/ SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUPER DEEP HOLE to the jungle core or my pit of sentry leapords or just a flat area with item only grates leading to a conveyor belt up to my base.

 

Depends on the high-tech end stuff they have.
But, I love building big.
All my friends know that, so a huuge base that probably expands the upper ground, under, and into the sky. 'Docking' ports in all three.

And for an avian build, probably something made out of stone and wood, more homely and stretching into the sky. Sorta Babil-like build.

 

I'll probably have several houses, most of which will be in my fortress complex. The fortress complex is a structure which is built starting from the middle, it then expands up, and to the left and right, only touching the ground in the middle and on the walls. There will be rooms in the main building of the fortress complex, but there will also be houses where there is open space. There will also be houses on top of the fortress complex. It will also have an underground system. Any houses I don't build in the fortress complex (that belong to me) will be some sort of skyhouse, or a tropical house. ^^
(and the skyhouse will be connected to the complex)

 

That actually sounds pretty cool, though I have no idea how i would make something like that

 

Im just going to have a small establishment then make a deep underground place.

 

Something simple and portable, yet functional for all the throw-away planets. For my home world i'll have a huge floating island with a massive spire on it.
