What kind of homeworld/biome will you settle in? (poll)

Ocean/Islands for me .

I live on an island currently so why not in game as well. Love to Dive in RL so would love to be a master of the Oceans in the Game world, would love to build an underwater habitation

 

Your gonna either need to be a Hyotyl or get the armour for them pretty fats so you can breath underwater.

Hmmm.. So many choices, so many great places to build bases, cities and whatnot...
I'll just build where ever I feel like building.
Even if its in lava, water or tentacles!

 

Hasn't been shown too often. (I think just once and I might be remembering wrong) But I'd like to honestly settle a big home base type thing in a mostly barren selenic world. Because come on, moonbase. With moondust.

Then I can make stupid jokes about my giant leaps across the surface of the planet.

 

Earth

 

It was hard to pick one, so I didn't!

Home base will probably be on a forest/grassland world because that's just the kind of scenery I enjoy and live around. That being said...

Themed home bases may end up on Desert planets (DUUUUUUUUNE!) and if there is a polluted planet with oil instead of water, gonna make me a Giedi Prime. Oh and the Glitch will probably have a presence on the ice planets rebuilding the city of Windhelm and appointing a Glitch Jarl.

 

Oceanic Islands, most definitely. Aside from being excited about all the construction and exploration possibilities there the most, there's also a reason I chose to be Avian in the first place. It would be criminal if this didn't happen:

I will have the most pimpin' beach house ever, with a dock out into the ocean where I'll house my submarine, which will take you to my true base, a massive domed city under the ocean in the deepest, darkest, most dangerous part of the ocean.

Yeah, definitely. It's always had my favorite character design. It's also one of the things that got me into game/graphic design in the first place--I remember I spent hours mimicking the art from the guide when I was a kid. it's already influenced my work in numerous ways in the here and now.

The Avians remind me very much of the Rito tribe, so...that's going to happen, if I build some megalithic project, which actually sounds like a lot of fun in Starbound. Never got around to wanting to do something like that in Terraria, the construction elements were too shallow.

 

I want to find a nice island with metal trees, like I saw in one of the screenshots.

 

Honestly as much as the Avians are kind of Rito-y, I think I'll be building Dragonroost as a Hylotl, because their style is quite asian. (With the banners, and the paper/stone walls and doors.

(Also going to assume the Avian god is actually Valoo, and they lost their flight because he left, and they could no longer get scales from him to grow wings)

An ocean world, perhaps of some exotic liquid. Whatever looks nice.

I'll live underwater, with an elevator of sorts to the surface.

Probably I'll try to build livable vehicles (large submarines, a wooden airship) depending on materials. Seems pretty likely to work, though.

 

Jungle with lava pools, many deep chasms leading to the foam-like fiery underground. Largest planet size.

 

I'm just not supple enough to handle the grape soda anymore. :/

 

I will be building in Snow/Ice biomes and Forest biomes.

 

All of them most likely. Depends where the resources are, I'll be building a base on multiple planets for mining/dungeons.
