What kind of homeworld/biome will you settle in? (poll)

This thread is to see what the community wants to settle in. Also, feel free to discuss what you would like in a biome, or what kind of things you will do to your surroundings.

I would add more choices, but I can't due to the limited poll options I can add, just goes to show you how many biomes we will have.

 

Damn, I forgot to group Swamp with jungle.

I personally am going to Terraform a Volcanic / Swamp biome for my house, which will feature a basement that contains a secret door to my underground house.

 

I think I may like almost all of those biomes, save perhaps for Jungle. Alas my opinion may change over time as we learn more about the biomes available, but at the moment the appeal of many is rather broad I find. At the moment I am partial to creating some kind of island habitation (be it on an ice world, ocean or 'floating in lava'. A tentacle world/biome may be interesting as well, depending on how risky it would be to attempt such.

Ice Ocean. Cause. Water and Ice. And giant awesome underwater frozen bases.

 

Hoping for a Starship Graveyard, though my ship will probably be my home more than any given planet. After all, it's what'll be hauling my collection of exotic creatures from planet to planet, and server to server, to sell to players for exotic weaponry to sell to other players for chocolate.

 

I'll be on a constant search for the most beautiful scenery. If I find one, I'll bookmark it and move on. I'll never settle in one place.

Volcanic and Tentacle Seems Very Unique for me!

 

I though you would settle for pig planet where are bacon trees and bacon grass grows wild. With occasional rain of bacon.

Ahem, the place to settle must be something that one won't bored. So i think settling will have to wait with exploration coming first.

 

The only reason I would live on a tentacle planet is if it has tentacle kitty .

 

Probably a Jungle, I like the wiley-ness of the Jungle.

The Volcanic Planet = Place I cook best Bacon in the Universe.
Tentacle Planet = Place were a grab my planet from giant tentacles (intergalatic bacon).

I'd settle in my spaceship. Making your home move with you allows you to explore indeffinitely. And in case something goes wrong, you can just pack your stuff and fly away... If you really wanted me to tell a simgle biome I'd settle in, then it would be forrest.

Still, I am curious how big is the ship customization in actual game going to be...

 

Won't you have tech issues from the Humidity?

 

In snow planets I will make normal cabins because the ice planets are too pretty

The rest, I will transform into metal spheres, so it won't matter.

 

Honestly I'm not sure, but I think I'll know it when I see it.

 

Tentacle obviously. That's where I'm going to start my franchise of grape soda called... Tentacle Grape.
