What kind of combat style would you prefer to play?

Something like a Gunblade would be awesome to play with Because i pretty much like fighting with guns and swords.

 

More than likely I'll play ranger with mah little monster buddies helping me with the mele
... then again, gun + sword is pretty cool...

 

I kinda hope they have a decent amount of thrown weapons, but I am still more of a melee tank kinda guy in games.

I would like a squid gun that shoots paint.

 

Sniper-Laser. xD Or halberd/bladestaffs. I hope too that we got spaceglider that we can flying und shooting the enemy to hell yeah! ^.^/) But... in emergency i would use toothpick too... xD

 

I am a duck and cover firefight kinda guy.
Definitely gonna be ranged for my first character

 

I think i would rather blast my enemies with plasma and lasers via dual wielding 2 guns...

 

i hope i can get a 1 handed hammer and a pistol. that would just win this game over for me.

 

Get a big sword name it infinity edge drag it behind me on the ground and get something that allows me to not go below 1 hp for a few seconds and dress like a viking.
On a serious note:Swords? Guns? Who needs those things when you can just give 'em the old one two with your fists...

I'd definitely go with a sword, as I've always had a natural attraction to them in games. Bonus points if there's a fantasy element to it.

 

Either something sneaky, or something spammy.

i do like my ranged, but i will probably fall into the roll of a melee user.

 

I like to play as a melee character in any other games but I think I will most likely be a ranged person in Starbound.

 

Support! Like with buffs and heals and revive kits and such.

I love playing many different characters to see what it is like for each. I think one kind of character I will definitely try to make would be a Space Paladin. He would ride in on a Valiant Steed(Hoverbike) and would wield a shield and spear/mace/sword combo with a crossbow/gun as backup. Something powerful if a gun, like a shotgun. I could call it Divine Justice and it would rain Holy-Hellfire upon the enemies of all that is good. Heh, plus holy hand-grenades. At least, I would attempt to make the character like so....
