Starbound will be shown there and some people can play a limited demo of it.

 

oh okay, you think beta is soon to follow?

 

We all hope for that, but no one knows.

 

maybe they will announce the beta date at I49?

 

I wrote a thread about that. A admin commented that " Assuming they would tell us when they decide on it "

So in my words, They probably will have it announced at Insomnia.

I like how you quoted him to make it seem like they might but if you see his whole post it does the opposite saying it's highly unlikely.

 

I couldnt remember the exact words. This game is getting in my head ya know? xD

 

I wasn't saying it's not possible that they announce it there, I was just saying it'd be unlikely because they said they wouldn't hold the date back once they decided on it. However, as I'm not on the dev team, I couldn't say for sure what will or will not happen.

August 23rd-26th.

 

I'm personally not going to hold them to tell us right when they decide on it, they'd likely try to make a spectacle of it rather than leaving a meeting and saying "I guess I'll put that in the daily update."

I don't think that necessarily means that I49 will be the announcement, but I'd expect to at least see something that'll make us excited and impatient for the game all over again. Perhaps even a trailer? We'll see. I'm not holding my breath for anything amazing, but I do hope for good news.

There's a demo of starbound there. If we don't get a beta soon after that, i'm going to be pissed. Those people will be able to play starbound before me, and not have to pay a dime
