What is your singleplayer-multiplayer ratio going to be?

Since some people prefer blowing up worlds and experimenting alone, the others excel at playing around with friends in Director Mode.

It doesn't have to be exact ratio, just an estimate.

Like, for me...
60% Singleplayer - 30% Multiplayer

Which is still going to be a lot of time spent in multiplayer, given how much time I will spend playing.
What about you?

50% Multiplayer, 30% Singleplayer, 15% Leaving the game on while listening to music or being online, 5% Real Life.

 

Depends on how easy it is to get multiplayer to work. I its like Terraria with port-forwarding and stuff, then probably 95% Single - 5% Multi, with multiplayer getting an increasing share the easier it is to use.

 

I'll probably play mostly singleplayer, but dunno how much I'll get into multiplayer yet.

 

Port forwarding is only ever necessary if you HOST a server.

There is no percentile that is small enough for how much I will play Single player. Once I learn the game and finish the story once, its off to hosting a server for the rest of the life of Starbound.

This is not always true. It depends wildly on your router/modem and firewall. There are indeed games out there that will not work properly without open ports.
It is also reliant on how the game's netcode is.

 

The good thing about my posts is that i'm usually wrong.

 

I think I'll have a pretty close balance between single player and multi-player probably a little bit more single player due to my gross insomnia.

 

Unsure, I know when the game comes out me and my best friend plan to live stream it when were total noobs without a damn clue wth we are doing just for giggles.

For me it'll depend on when my friend wants to play, thats why its a Unsure.

I'll just be playing on my own dedicated multiplayer server constantly,
if there are people I'll just go along with them, if I'm alone, well,
I'll play alone.

100% Multiplayer.

 

I'm affraid I can't convince my friends to play Starbound, I know they suck.
So I guess 100% singleplayer...

 

Yep. I am in the same boat. I think out of my 116 hours of terraria, only 3 were on a server that I was hosting with two of my buddies who I had gifted Terraria during a sale. Similar ratio in Minecraft...

 

89% Multiplayer. 11% Singleplayer.

 

Probably 70% multiplayer and 30% single.
I have 3 clans and a bestest friend, i need multiplayer >.<
