What is your least favorite species?

Actually, if you look at all of the species in terms of what the "majority" or the leadership does, none of them are honestly
very likeable at all.

Apex - Completely obsessed with scientific progress to the extent that they abandon any morals that impede their progress.
Will perform any experiment on anything - or anyone - they please.

Avians - Offer eachother up in sacrifice, mutilate eachothers limbs (wing clipping), and generally perform what
most people would consider "dark rituals."

Humans - Overmilitarized. I'm yet to find any major human structures that aren't either fortresses or prisons, although
I guess that's to be expected considering they had their homeworld destroyed.

Florans - Cannibalistic, murderous and primitive. I'm still not sure why they're so popular within the community.

Hylotles - Essentially, an entire race of patronizing assholes. Also, they're FILTHY WEEABOOS. I personally believe
that they're responsible for tentacles, tentacle monsters, and monstrous tentacles.

Glitch - Okay, I guess there's nothing particularly wrong with the Glitch. The worst that can be said is that they're
kind of goofy.

Novakids - Well, they don't really have any form of social norms or leadership, so I guess it's more or less
impossible to judge them as a species or culture.

 

Calling the Hylotl weebs seems kind of silly, like calling the Japanese themselves weebs. They're not desperately trying to imitate and glorify the culture, that is their culture.

Also, I don't particularly mind any of the vanilla species; they're all (at least hypothetically) interesting in their own way. The Hylotl and Novakids would fall under "least favorite" simply because there's nothing there to judge yet.

 

No need to drop the "Weeaboo" on them, as they're of Japanese influence by default.

 

Well obviously they're not REALLY Japanese since they're from an entirely different planet. So yes I think it's
perfectly reasonable to assume that they're weeaboos.

I'll bet they even watch undubbed anime! Those MONSTERS!

 

Floran is not fond of sssssea life, so Floran dislike the Hylotl, although Floran doesn't approve the ssssavagery at Hylotl planet. Floran doesn't know why so many dissssslike the humans, they make such good hunt… Aah, Floran jussssst kidding, humans give good pixels to Floran merchantss!

 

They are inherently Japanese for me.

Though I for one would rather think of Hylotl as human's offshoot races, as the Asian population fled away from Earth before the Tentacle incident and turned themselves into Hylotl.

 

Floran. Not because of them, but because of everyone who uses an excessive amount of S's cus they think it's cool. It's caused me to dislike the race all together.

It's only natural for Floran to ssssssspeak like thissss when acting, because that's what Floran issss doing. It's a fun way to sssssshow appreciation to the favorite race of the Floran!


Now really, I just do this for fun, that's why I color my text different while speaking like Floran. Don't mind us, it's just our silly way of loving Florans!

Back on topic, as stated earlier, I dislike the Hylotl. I don't know, a sea species doesn't strike me as fancy. Also the fact that I don't like the ocean helps as well.

 

Oh boy this one is complex for me... .It depends... Personal opinion? Or Based upon lore and story, or how I feel about creating a character in them? Because if its the second box... Apex I dislike apex, not because of the whole orwellian society, but more due to the simple fact the characters favour texts are £*%(in' depressing.... Seriously I imagine another character asking my apex character and all I hear is WAAAH WAAAH WAAAH WAAAAAAA seriously... Apex characters are depressing to play. Now that from a gamepoint standard is how I feel...

However on a personal standard I REALLY F&£*ING Hate avians.. I DETEST avians. I can't stand to look at them.. They were ruined to me by another player who was OBSESSED OBSESSED with them to the levels of perversion and creepiness. I used to have a black Avian who looked like a crow I named Poe (HAR HAR HAR) Now I can't EVER recreate that character because everything negative experience i've had with that person is represented in Avians.... Which sucks because it was Avians and Florans I liked.. I still like glitch, its just my fiance loves the glitch and but they just don't fit well with me. ALso I don't care for hytols for the same reason as the Apex, the way the character interacts with the world isn't fun with me.

Least to Greatest

Humans - Kinda bland. Cool armor though.
Hylotl - Just can't compete with how much I live the other races. Nice culture, but kinda jerks.
Novakid - I like novakid and all, but I like the top three better. The armor looks all the same.
Floran - Cool backstory, sweet armor, nice culture, and sweet weapons. I don't like the ship.
Apex - I love the ship. Amazing armor, okay backstory, okay weapons. I just love the ship. They look okay.
Avians - They were the race I started with. Nice culture, cool weapons, my favorite ship. Bad armor though.
