What is your biggest hope on Starbound?

I have... more high-reaching expectations, which will not hurt too much if they don't come true, but is really nice if otherwise.

First is to have minions of some sort. Stationary types like deployable auto-turrets would be nice for example, but mobile ones like androids would be a great deal better.

Second, once you get technologically advanced enough, is to be able to build massive machines (or a series of smaller, complex machines) designed to automatically mine and process an entire planet into complete nothingness in the name of resource gathering. Great for 'dead' planets where cities have died out and there's nothing left but monsters roaming about.

 

You're clearly not understanding what's being discussed here but lets just stop.

 

Was this discussed elsewhere? Another hope I had for the game was to be able to develop your own town. You're a space pioneer, you should try and scout out viable places to live and stake a claim for your species.

 

I hope that the replay ability is amazing. Also they make it easy to meet new people in multiplayer.

 

Finding a home world and making it mine will be the best.

 

My biggest hope is for a nude mod. Dem pixel tits.

...Now that my 8-year-old self has said that, I'll just add that I would love to have more control over how your ship looks, and more options regarding idle animations/poses/walking style etc, because I think that makes characters even more unique than they already are.

There has been a discussion about boobie jiggling physics, only someone said it'd be a waste of development time. ppf.

I really am looking forward to the exploration and endless possibilities. If I find myself on a planet and faced with an issue or just lack of interest, beam up and move on. The fact that there are more planets than I could ever hope to explore gives me the itch to explore. Quests, story-lines and epic loot are always a plus.

 

I want a lot of hidden horror elements.

 

A Clone who's going to annoy myself.

 

My only hope at this point is that beta actually comes out in 2013.
